Great video! I’ve been wanting to use my passport as a wallet for a while, might finally try it out. Genius idea to use the bookmark to secure the plastic folder, thank you for sharing. The folder never felt secure, but I also didn’t want to add another elastic just for the folder, which I’ve seen other people suggest. Super helpful tip!
Hello, I liked this video, as we are on the same wavelength. I LOVE my Travellers Company Travellers Notebooks both in Passport and Standard. I've just set up my black Passport size as a wallet after a long hiatus. Do you know I was in my craft room for 3 hours this morning going through all my stash of inserts, bits and bobs, stickers, elastics, charms, etc, and I ended up with a great setup that I am going to share with you. At first I wanted a notebook inside the TN for on the go notes, but then I didn't like it as it seemed too bulky so I scraped that idea and instead I used a Kraft folder with the 2 pockets, front and back and I decorated them. Inside each pocket I placed a passport size pencil board to give the whole wallet stability. Inside the back pocket I had some Made in Japan mini post it notes. They are mini so they fit well. If I need to jot a note I can use them! My second insert in the middle is the Travellers Company Mustard Wallet insert. Now I have 2 pockets, post it notes and a zipper wallet plus pouch. This was the thickness I wanted. For me the plastic zipper wallet just wasn't nice looking, and would only junk up my set up. But, if in time I need more capacity, I will get another Travellers company wallet insert and have them both. Something I want to tell you about is the pen loop. I notice you use the elastic. I used to until today when I found a brass clip. I placed the pen's clip from the pen cap to the lever of the brass clip and attach the brass clip the front of the TN, then when I elastic it up I also enclose the pen, but when I open the wallet the pen is still attached by the pen clip to the brass clip attached to the front of my TN. It stays put as you open your wallet and pay for your items but it's readily accessible and easy to pull out the writing part of the pen, and leave the pen cap attached to the brass clip, attached to the front, or to remove the whole pen from the brass clip. I knew there had to be a way to show off my Travellers Company Brass pen as a decoration for the front of my wallet, and that is what I achieved. I also added charms to the front elastic which I found from an old necklace, but they are brass and match very nicely and I put a charm on my book mark. I now am in love with this wallet. The 3 hour tear down and build up were totally worth it. LOL I will check out some more of your videos. Thanks. c
I agree with you on that pen, I have the same one and for drs. appts and signing docs it's almost a life saver. I use my passport as a wallet too and love it! I don't think I'll ever go back to a standard wallet. You have a lovely set up ☺
This was my first one and it went so well I moved into a second version. Had to repost this video because somehow it got a weird strike so removed any background sounds. I’ll repost that one 🔜 too
me again. LOL is this getting weird>? I have the same set up, literally! I just switched to a passport size from a standard size. I like the smaller one much better. Is your cover black or chocolate? I can't really tell. Mine is Chocolate, but it's gotten really scratched up. I am shocked at how perfect your leather is after using it for a few years! That's impressive.
This one is the blue and it feels totally different than my brown camel Starbucks cover (it’s a repost because somehow got dinged by RU-vid 😣) still have to repost my Starbucks.
