I appreciate very much for the series ;) Im also workin' with ecus, but I like to watch someones work, because if you really know - everyone learns all their life soo.. and maybe you could learn me something I don't know, but the most important is for sure you can learn greenhorns ;) Make more videos, some diagnostics changing, adjust the soft with logs. Tell something about engine components and their durability what is important to make any changes in software, cuz the important is to know limit of car hardware - i mean you could tell where take a look for this information and about that the components like turbos could be used in many power versions of engines, so.. if one car has 100HP and second has 130HP and this is the same turbo charger, so if some want to tune 100HP car they now know the turbo durability is between 150-160HP [in example, because in 130HP this is the same turbo and usually the every diesel car can be chipped by 25-35+HP] and so.. on. The same with the clutches, DMF, crankshaft and camshaft, conrods and etc.. And first things first - HOW THE ENGINE WORKS and how works every mechanism in car we have to chippin' like .205 to .216 and so on?? Maybe petrol engine like 1.8T ME7xx on 29FX00 flash [obd flashing possible] tuning series (with load measuring, turbo adjustment, injection and ignition timing - I mean whole one car tuning process)?? ^-- Its just my suggestions for the very next movies in future ;) What the next... EDC16 and maybe EDC17 or something like Denso or Siemens? As you know EDC16 isn't the more difficult than EDC15, because its actually the same case, but with some other maps and other approuches in few cases and more tricks. I will follow with the pleasure your channel and this journey from "zero to ecu tune hero" and as I said above - maybe you can learn me too something and maybe also me or some can learn you ;)
very well, thanks for the clarity of explaining things honestly without leaving any details, I would like to ask you if you can make a video on edc16u where you explain the various swich MAF, MAP, Lampda Thanks again
Very nice help explanation. Just have one question, when you are coping the tables you change the axis data, in the 19NJ table originally begin at 800mbar and ends at 2200mbar. shouldn´t the new table stay equal? don´t understand why o put -0.20 to 1.20. This way if the ecu will read 1200mbar of the map sensor (0.2bar turbo pressure) will put the 60mg? big thanks
I am currently helping a friend who is doing a edc15vm swap onto a 300tdi for vnt controll with a gtb2260 I've done immo off on the file egr delete and I need to do the maf off and 4 bar map and it looks a little different could you help me out
It's a edc15vm+ so it if for a alh engine but we are using it on a land rover 300 tdi for vnt controll the fuel pump is the same I'll have to figure out a rpm sensor but will I have to use a needle lift sensor because I can't find one that will work
@@harrylightbown4328 If you want to send the ori over to my email, ill gladly knock up a video showing you how to switch off the maf and add the 4 bar sensor!
Good day! Great job! Could you help me to switch from MAF to MAP, I have a golf 4 TDI 90 HP EDC15. I will send you the firmware by mail and you will fix it for me. I will be very grateful to you !!!
