After arriving in Poway, there was a lot of time in which no trucks could be found. So we decided to head over to the part of route that I hadn't yet seen. And immediately we were greeted by this truck making its way up the road toward us. This is the 2nd truck I filmed on this day, and by far the best sounding of them.
Its a CWS on a Volvo WXLL powered by what I believe to be a Caterpillar engine of some sort. It had a great sound when in the right spot, but the rest of the time it liked to hiss haha. If you choose to watch it all the way through you'll get to hear it the way I heard it while filming. One clip in particular captured the sound nicely.
Its neat to see a newer truck with such an old school appearance to it. This may not be the oldest truck, and certainly not the rarest, but I think it was still easily one of the most entertaining trucks I have filmed. I had a blast following this truck and I hope you all enjoy it too!
