Classic episode. By golly, they really did come up in the world by the looks of that tiny garage compared to what they have had in recent years. Defo looks like they started out on a lower budget cos even poor Edd's hands were all oily due to him not even having those orange gloves he used later on.
Is, maybe only in english, available the full collection of the DVDs of the series? This has been the only TV program I sincerely followed, together with two italian scientific divulgation ones. And it's the only car program that actually shows what's done in the workshop
Wow a young Ed China!! I'm sure when they started filming WD they had no idea the impact they would have and still do to this day the show is great I'd love to see the big man back with Ant taking on better cars. IMO I believe Ed got lazy once they started filming in the USA and Mike went "Hollywood" but there is never going to be a show like this again.
Fuck! This ep is old Edd has brown hair here & no gloves. Ive been watching re runs of WD on normal tv here in Oz & its the eps where Mike buys cars from the US & brings them back to the UK for Edd to do up
He does still take saftey precautions especially towards the end of his career on this show this was also nearly 20 years ago now when health and saftey wasn't as big
