@@AxTenTenSo thats it, Connors got a better career? Connor is 2-1 in title fights, Aldo defended 7 times, his career is far more exceptional than Connors
Eddie is so underrated because of Conor. Went to war with Poirier and Gaethje, Destroyed a prime RDA and prime Pettis. Dude was and still is ridiculous. Still competing and just went through a BKFC war with Mendes. All my respect
@@Eric-ih5mbEddie fought post-iv ban RDA compare Dos Anjos before the IV Ban to after the IV Ban pre-iv ban RDA was destroying everybody, after the iv ban, he looked like a depleted shell of his former self at LW i like eddie, but pre-iv ban RDA smokes him easily
@@qwerty-rh6hteddie lost in a incredible fashion to conor obviously as a fighter you have loses especially after your prime. But conor beat him in a few punches conor was in his head. And eddie fought the beat guys in the world
Is this a bot comment, every video I see "bro dropped the hardest (enter subject here) and thought we wouldn't notice. If it's not then I swear 12 year olds see a comment get a few likes and from that point forward they post it on every video. Zero original thoughts from this and nothing to add to the conversation.
@@lachlanm7149no man if he was really busy n that level he would keep It up not fall down Like he did..he lost his God on the way to success and then 👿 got him
@@drazenstefanovic6122That is nonsense you think a devil is the reason why he isn’t fighting the same he took multiple lay offs from the sport that was moving on he still has power he just has to work on his game more
didn't he get choked out and slapped a dozen times by nate diaz around the same time he beat Eddie? Eddie is a savage but styles make fights and conors style is one of the worst for eddies. And there are a ton of fighters who are bad styles for conor
gave RDA, Gaethje, Poirier, Melendez, Pettis, Cerrone, Chandler, & Mendes all tough fights and a run for their money i still maintain that the reason Eddie got dominated so badly vs Conor is because he basically got Flash KO'd by the first strike conor landed, and was concussed for the rest of the fight. its like the Aldo fight, except Eddie survived after the knockdown. if Eddie didnt get caught so early, it wouldve been more competitive
@@zoyak9023tf u mean Eddie actually has more experience he has went war with killers before this fight he was a former champion and this is Justin's 2nd UFC fight and this was a war but not degrading Eddie's win tho
@@boogieman6529wasnt prime eddie, i agree that Gaethje would smoke the same Eddie that Conor fought Prime 2012 Alvarez beats any version of Gaethje tho
"The Underground King" is one of the most fitting nicknames ever for Alvarez. Even before Mendes fight people were writing him off. Guy has been fighthing top competition for 20 years and still doing it.
@@htu-nate never again unfortunately at least in my opinion, but that’s kinda what makes it special. We were blessed to watch him through his prime. Kinda like there won’t ever be another Stone Cold or Kobe, there will never be another 2015-16 Conor
@@brianhallman5168no one thought Eddie was soft what are you on about everyone was just shocked about connors performance. What you on scoot also for when he’s one of the best to ever do it. Your comment makes no sense
@joestead4060 where in my comment did I say anything about Eddie being soft. Maybe next time, read comments before you say stupid shit to people. Typical troll online
Wins with a Huge knee!…Despite the fact His own legs were Destroyed! Gaethje is a Beast! But Eddie Has an insane amount of Resilience! (1st kick, I’d have been on the floor!) 😂
Eddie allowed himself to be intimated by Conor , he was stiff asf in that fight ,slow predictable , low self esteem. This was the Eddie everyone thought we were gonna see go at it with Conor but Eddie showed up one fight to late this was right after his loss to conor
Eddie was AND STILL IS a fucking savage. To see the way conor dismantled him at that time was craaaaaazy bro absolute masterclass against one of the best in the world
That knock out with the knee was absolutely brutal and still is one of the most brutal knockouts I’ve seen in mma. Justin just crumbled where he stood. Not the best but defo up there for sure.
notice eddie’s vicious body shots almost ever one of his combinations starts to the body then ends with like 2 or 3 headshots, crazy skills by Eddie to throw punches in bunches like that
@@Criticas2Calcetas being Homer Simpson Gaethje got him to 18-0 it was only after he got knocked out by Eddie and Dustin he changed his style, he had to fight the best of the best in the greatest promotion to realise fighting like a brawler was dumb lol
@@Icantthinkofausername2023 ya feel good mate 😂absolutely nothing to do with kabib and your straight on it 2016 Connor smoked Alvarez and he smoked Justin and that was prime Justin era so imagine how good of a fight 2016 con and 2018 2019 kabob would of been. Btw pull his pants up when your done sucking his cock. 😂😂
People forget so easily. Conor and Eddie were beasts and Conor destroyed him. That old Conor. One of the greatest spectacles to ever fight for money or fame. He may not have been the best every but he was the best to watch and that’s a fact.
I just think the pressure of a big pay day and the whole event with Conor is partly due to him losing that night. Eddie was and still is an absolute beast! I honestly think he’d beat Conor today .
That was probably the last fight Eddie was really in and won. Not hating on him I know him personally and I’m from Philly but he needed that time off and it seems he found that spark in bare knuckle
People gotta understand that Eddie was an absolute animal in his prime. It’s just that Conor in his prime was just so good at analyzing and people and breaking them down, did it to Eddie just like he did with Jose.
Eddie in his prime was a beast. Top 3LW at the time. Yet Justin was young and brash. He couldn't help but see that talking gets you the big paydays. He had to try and build a brand.
That's was a time when Justin Gaethje been swinging with no regards for defense or nothing. He made huge improvements since then. Just compare first and second fight with Dustin porier
