I’ll never forget this game. Deployed out to Afghanistan, group of English & welsh fans we managed to stream the match and watched it on a projector and white sheet. Working alongside US marines and this was their first experience of a six nations match with most never having seen rugby before. Let’s just say those marines left as welsh fans after the 80 mins 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇸

A masterclass by Wales and a masterclass by Eddie Butler on commentary. Whenever I think of great matches like these, Eddie's voice will always be the one I hear in my head. The soundtrack to Wales post-nineties revival and synonymous with our great Garland years . Diolch o galon Eddie boi.

Wales were immense this day and it was a game of class and attrition. As an English fan, there is nothing better than playing against a resurgent and in-form Welsh team - and this one threw everything and the sink at England, who just couldn't cope. It was a magical performance, full of creativity flair, strength and guile. Best Welsh performance I have ever seen and England were humbled.

Always good when the Welsh have a good team. It is the heartland of Northern Hemisphere rugby so it's important that the team do well ( I'm a Scot but I started watching rugby back in the Gareth Edwards, Phil Bennett days ).

I work 10 miles across the border from Wales in England, with all English workers other than myself. I will never forget the atmosphere in work on the day after this legendary Welsh victory. My co-workers, all the English ones, were so surly and sensitive about their defeat that I dared not even mention the game. Something in their eyes warned me it would be unwise to mention rugby at all. We had humiliated England so grieviously, about four days had to pass before the mood lightened a bit and I was at last free to take the piss. Oh, what a delight that was. I'll never forget it. Rugby played poetically, I'd say, and they all knew it.

why is dan biggar not the regular kicker? Halfpenny is pretty good but Dan Biggar rarely misses. I have never seen Biggar having a bad kicking day imo (halfpenny did had a few). Wales are very fortunate to have 2 kickers of this quality especially after that semi final vs France in 2011
