@Adrian Blair I'm not saying Andy Ruiz is the best boxer in the division but he is a DL monster. Freddie Roach said he's one of the hardest hitters he has seen in sparring. The bottomline is he had a near non-existant reputation to the public yet was actually a very competent and rated highly by those who actually knew about his skills. Plus he was cherry picked. It was short notice but he was still an opponent who Hearn could take or leave. Whichever way you look at it, it was an error and a PR disaster. Nothing could be gained from it. If AJ were to have won he would have got no credit. so it was a lose/lose option.

Not sure how much they actually spend on that, but the volunteers working there say the Fury family is one of their major contributors.... And as far as I could make out everyone that worked there were volunteers, so probably doesn't cost a fortune to run.
