Marcus well with Ruiz it was pretty obvious as he came in way heavier than the first fights and with wilder it’s not a valid excuse 40 pounds distributed all throughout your body is not heavy even for any normal size man let alone wilder, also wilder said when he was being interviewed by joe Rogan that he trains with 40 pound plates on him at all times ...

First loss, there's always a myriad of excuses. Ali complained alot about Frazier after the first fight, Mike Tyson complains of a slow count for Douglas with his first loss, they all have excuses. Deontay lost his first fight, he won't be coming back from this. Unless he gets lucky and another Andy Ruiz wins a belt. That's what should happen, AJ vs Wilder first and winner fights fury. Ain't no way AJ comes to America again though, after his disastrous coming out party ended with his head caved in.
Just people that lost money on the fight looking for excuses....or people that know little to nothing about boxing mad that the fight was one sided, when real boxing fanatics knew fury is the better pure boxer
Agree with Jason S. I don't think Fury is anything impressive. Someone like Lenox Lewis would have crushed him. He has no true punching power. That's why he gained the weight.
Javier Lara I’m definitely not saying Fury isn’t good. Fury is a great technical fighter with decent power. What I’m saying is that Wilder is a power puncher with little to no skill. Fury exposed Wilder by exploiting his lack of skill. Wilder never got a chance to use his power

I wanted Wilder to win but I had my doubts because like you said fury can box and I had a feeling he would find a way to avoid that right hand and he did.
If a man hits you in the back of the head with an over-hand punch, the problem is your defense not his hit. Wilder was turning his face away from the jabs and Fury made him pay for it.
5:49 On point. That's why telegraphing his strategy was *genius* on the part of Fury. Wilder knew it, too! Fury certainly looked much more relaxed and confident just prior to the fight. Fury *knew* he'd cracked the code at the end of the 1st fight, and there was little chance Wilder could KO a fresh Gypsy King before having the starch beaten outta him.
Shannon is correct about Wilder. The greatest boxers in most classes started out winning golds at the Olympics and then amateur before going professional! Ali, Forman, Frazier, Hollyfield, Lewis all won gold at the Olympics as did the middle weights like Sugar Ray Leonard!
Everybody saw that. He saved deontay from a cold KO multiple times, and if it was any other ref they'd of stopped it way earlier. He suffered a pretty bad beating.
It amazes me how shocked people are with this result. Fury is an incredible boxer, he absolutely schooled Wilder and would’ve had the same result in the first fight if he wasn’t out for so long. These people clearly didn’t have a clue how good Fury was or do they just forget he did exactly the same thing to Klitchsko.
I'm annoyed at how all these "Analysts" got this wrong! When Fury said he'd finish Wilder I believed him. And for so many reasons too. If you really watched the 1st fight more than once you'd know it wasn't impossible for Fury to finish Wilder at all!
The shot on the ear still affects his balance though, AJ wasn't bleeding from the shot by Ruiz on the ear but you saw what that did to his equilibrium right?
Don't fight in a boxing match if that is your concern, they have life insurance anyways. If you are going to end fight's because I guy could get killed than ban boxing.

That was true plus there was no game plan from Wilders corner in the first 3 rds. No one who talked about this fight never mentioned the old school boxing trick was to lean you heavy weight body on the clinches used to tire a fighter and not let him get a breather. The clinches is where Mayweather would get his breaths during his fights. Wilder also goes straight back to much, bad balance, and never turns his fighter or uses head movement.
