Wouldn't begrudge him taking it, but not sure how he would incorporate his high intensity style into a group of players not fit enough to do so. Can't see kane leading the press somehow, he's too busy standing on the half way line. Still, would prefer Burn over Shaw at left back

As for Eddie, i honestly think (i may very well be off the mark here) he would turn the job down if offered it. He is a young manager who clearly thrives off the day to day of football management. In fact, judging off his interviews, he seems addicted to it. He has put a great deal into Newcastle, and this will be the season where he truly will be judged, in my opinion. He will be desperate to show everyone he is an elite gaffer! So im not too worried.
I never said he would take the England job bud, I stated in the video that my opinion was that I don’t think he will leave this summer. I appreciate your comments on my health, I have been doing much better now

Eddie howe prefers the day to day coaching of players. International management is completely different and eddies time will come around again in the future.

If Eddy gets us to the champions League again then it's fine for him to go as by then hopefully we will have a better team and money to buy better players as well as a top class manager. Eddy has done well but he's not a top top class manager .We need to set our sights higher in all aspects .

There's nothing to suggest England will do anything different than before, defence is a mess, preparation has been poor, I'd absolutely love nothing more than to win it, but I'm not hopeful, but will behind them all the way!
I'm afraid that I predicted last season that Eddie would be approached by the FA, regardless to the outcome of the Euro's. If I didn't support the Toon, Eddie would be my first choice to take over from Southgate. He deserves the post and I wouldn't hold it against him if he took up the offer. Fingers crossed he doesn't.
The FA can want who they like. I don't honestly think he would take the job. He is first and foremost a coach. He likes working with his coaching team on a day to day basis which he won't get with the England Job. He has the full backing of the club as far as the rules allow them and the backing of the fans, or at least most of them. Taking the England job means he would be saying goodbye to all that, only working with the player for a few days coming up to an international. He is also a family man who on his own admission sees little enough of them in his present job. He would see them even less if he took that job as a lot of time would be spent travelling the world watching matches without having any control over what is happening on the pitch. I also think he will know that his job at Newcastle is far from complete and he wants to at least get us some silverware before he leaves. He knows, like some of his stars, that bringing silver to the club will make them not hero's but legends. For these reasons alone I am not worried about what the FA want, I honestly think they will be disappointed.
He's not ready to take the England job. He needs to win something here first before he is considered. Also Pep could leave city next year and he wants an international job. He is the obvious candidate the FA should look at
I'd take the England job if I was Eddie. By the time the next World Cup comes along Eddie may have been sacked by Newcastle. Not that he deserves to be sacked but these things happen in football.

The FA will be wasting their efforts at rhe moment. Eddie enjoys rhe day to day management too much and is very loyal. Maybe in 5-10 years he may want it
