I thank the Grand Theft Auto series for my unbelievably large range of music taste, without it I may have never became a musician (drummer), this man is an absolute legend and will never die in my heart!
It's an awesome beat to this song but you should really look at pat benatar's heart breaker at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mIosHNpGjTE.html&start_radio=1
I sang with this wonderful man in 1986 at USA Sam's in N. Syracuse, N.Y. when they were on the "Can't hold back tour". Won a contest and sang this song with him. Highlight of my life. RIP Eddie.💜
I met Eddie backstage at the Parx Casino Bensalem Pa. outside Philadelphia circa 1996 . He signed my concert tee shirt and I gave him a drunken sweaty hug and bro kiss. I'm sure he didn't appreciate it but looking back that was a great moment in time
Unbelievable song!! You can never be in a bad mood! I miss the 70’s , everyone was happy, no cell phones, and you real had to talk and make memories. Love Eddie Money , down to earth , entertaining to make us all feel good, they don’t make music like this anymore!!
John Hall: I fully agree. Eddie Money was a huge part of my childhood and youth. His music is in my forever memory. He will live forever now through his music.
❤️ this came up in my feed today! My husbands favorite song! He passed away in 2019, and today is his birthday. Happy Heavenly Birthday Billy 😘. We were married in 1986, 😓 He used his ticket to paradise, but I still have mine. I’ll hold it close my love, until we meet again.
His whole career was Pure and cool! Never any drama, or any s*** like that, he just wrote great songs and delivered them very very very well! An all-around nice guy, not to mention he had Kick-Ass hair! He was a former New York city policeman Eddie Mahoney, changed his name to Eddie Money and was successful all of his great music, like he said himself " the money is gone but the songs are still here!
Saw Eddie at a small street fair outdoor venue in mid 90's. Had a vantage point about 30' off to the side of the stage. What a great show, 90 minutes of his hits, oldies and some original material.
Eddie Money was so so close to being a Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Bob Segar and or John Mellencamp. Thought the " Walk on water" album would do it. It wasn't meant to be, unfortunately. No worries Eddie you'll always be a headliner to me!😊
RIP. I'm almost 60 and cant believe it. It seemed like yesterday I was partying with friends listening to this. I'm grateful to have grew up with the best music and memories. These Bands will always be young to me.
You grew up in the best time for music bro. This is an amazing song I’m 35 and I love me some Eddie money. I got into him like at age 23. And I will never forget his music. God bless you bro
RIP Big Guy. Saw him in 1999 in Prestonsburg , Kentucky. He said that he would be in the lobby after the show. He showed me that night what a good man he was. He stayed until he meet the last fan in line. The one thing he said when a family or someone with kids came up Eddie would thank them for coming to the show & told them he put on a show that u could bring your family to. He autographed the cover of my greatest hits CD & he shook my hand. I will never forget that. Hell of a man and he opened the show with this song.
Travis Perkins, that’s an awesome story, thank you for sharing. This song always brings back memories of the happiest time of my life, with the love of my life, during a magical summer in San Diego.
@@astrotherapist Thank you. This concert was at a small venue & I don't think he would have done that if it had been a large arena. I'll never forget it. Shakin was the 1st song I can remember hearing of him I've been a fan ever since.
Two things you can say about Eddie Money, He was a incredible awesome talent and everyone loved him, saw him perform three times and did not realize he was going leave us as soon as he did rest in peace Eddie Money , loved with much respect.
@@Meatdevil That's Tommy Girvin. After being the rhythm guitar for a while he became the combo player about late 80's. And he did that for years, I think clear until Eddie left us. Tommy has a kind of over the top style, but he does did do a great job for the band.
Lol good 1 sooooo sad sooo 😢 dammmm another 1 bites the dust just unbelievable WOWWW OMG can't I just can't I love him just love love 💘 him bless him and his family let's keep them in our thoughts and prayers✌🙏😧.
When this came out I was working in a small enclosed mall. Managing a shoe store.. right across my store... was a Album store.. this played over and over.. so the whole mall was listening 😊
So sad to hear of Eddie Money's passing. Used to rock his stuff in my car, the volume up full and me singing as loud as I could. Saw him live at a county fair and enjoyed that so much. Thanks for the memories
This song is a true classic awesome lyrics awesome voice can't help but sing along to this song when you played on the radio or in the privacy of your own home it takes you to a place only music like this can it will live for many many generations a timeless classic
Good morning my friend I was born in 1955 to This is a great song to sing with and the best music in this era to RIP Eddie money to Today's music 🎶 is very much like garbage to Am still listening to this music in July of 2024 to
Yes I know and I didn't hear about it until a week ago on the video of celebrity who died in 2019 I use to love this song this song was in GTA San Andreas and in balls of furry good song
Eddie was such a working class rock star. That's what I loved about him the most. He was a legend who should be in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Maybe now that he's passed he'll get some serious consideration.
My son watched him perform in 2015 .. Will never forget how many times the volume went up when one of his songs came on in the 80's .. best guitar and rockin vocals .. He is missed.
They say he was a character. Hagar said he was the king of dad jokes b4 they were ever cool. 😊thanks for all the great tunes brother. You live on through them buddy.😊
I discovered that about 10 years ago listening to his greatest hit on my iPod in a Bose docking station one day in my back yard , was never a big fan didn’t even realize I had the music but one day listened and love it
R.I.P Mr Money! One of the few authentic people gone too soon!! Here you have a nice gentleman who happens to be a world class musician!! Death unfortunately is the equalizer for all....fame matters not!
The guitar solo from the original release of " 2 Tickets" has always been agreat example of a less is more approach to a guitar solo that serves the song brilliantly.
With his wise words.. Im 53 and I finally did that.... On the waters of the Gulf of Mexico on a boat in the ocean with dolphins coming up and looking at me in the eyes. You have to get out people and enjoy each day like its your last.
Thank you Eddie for All this great music! It will live on in our hearts. It seems like yesterday I was crusin around in 1983 listening to your music.. God Bless you Eddie.. RIP
A dynamic little love song, supercharged with the twin emotive attributes of hope and love, magisterial as one of the voices of the late 1970s, early 1980s.
One of my first concerts was Eddie warming up for Ted Nugent. Maybe '78? He came out early by the side of the stage with his tambourine and just interacted with the fans.
I woke up this morning wanting to hear gimme some water. when i returned from work to hear the sad news of him passing. i love you EDDIE~! the~ most unqiue voice of our time. Thank you~! your ticket has been given , we will carry your legend with us~!
