the fact that joseph quinn improved the "dont ya big boy" to steve and the "i love you man" in his death scene, shows how much of different character he would have been without him
She was depressed, in a relationship with Jason also, but Eddie made her laugh like 4 times in just a couple of minutes. That spoils and reveals their chsracter right away.
I bet Billy would have bought drugs from Eddie a few times, but dunno if they would have liked each other much. Eddie being an empath he would probably understand or have an idea of why Billy was acting the way he did, but he wouldn't be okay with his bully behaviour.
Billy would try to beat his ass and Eddie would probably get a _really_ good right hook in and then run tf away. Of course, Billy is an ass, so he'd run Eddie down and beat him up anyway, and then Dustin would get Steve to try and handle Billy since Steve was able to _take down a whole ass Russian Guard_ at Starcourt.
I'm sorry but Joseph Quinn saying that his american accent is stupid is the biggest joke i've ever heard, i didn't know he was british until i heard him in interviews, he did it so well !
Me neither! I was actually looking up the season on Google and stupid me spoiled his death for myself! When I saw the list of the cast I clicked on Joseph Quinn and read he was a British actor and also didn't even know he was wearing a wig the whole time! 🤣
I love Joseph Quinn American accent just wish he was in the last season and not dead miss that character Joseph Quinn made that character felt so real that's why he's my all time favorite character and so attached to his character
It took Joseph Quinn 9 episodes to make Eddie the most popular character in Stranger Things - if not most popular then only just behind Max and Steve, who've been in the show considerably longer. That's talent.
Actually, it took much less than 9 episodes to endear Eddie to fans of Stranger Things. I would say Eddie was the most popular from the episode in the high school cafeteria. What was the adorable sound Eddie made when he turned his hands into antlers and stuck his tongue out? He's a legendary Dungeon Master, definitely! Excellent taste in 'music', including Iron Maiden and, of course, Metallica. There is nothing about Eddie that's a negative. So, there was no good or valid reason to kill him off. However, it must be pointed out that the advice he gave Dustin's group about no shame in running away was not something he himself wanted to adhere to. So, it's no surprise that the one time Eddie decides not to run for his life, The Powers That Be (aka the Duffer Twins) rolled the 20 sided die and it landed with the 1 side up. The 1 is always the worst thing to roll when deciding your character's fate. 😥 I really miss D&D, as well as LARP.
@@thomascagnon2894 I think it was when they were trying to find Eddie and he just jumped out of the boat and pushed Steve into the wall while holding a broken glass bottle to his neck
If from what Ches/Chive has told me is any sort of accurate, a persons guitar is their first love. So in a way, there isn’t a anyway, to replicate that look. But I see what you’re saying.
Eddie's death was the most emotional I've ever been over a fictional character. Was balli g my eyes out through the entire rest of that finale after that
Nope, not gonna even try because I agree 100%. I hope the Duffers get swamped by the fans who fell in love with Eddie only to ugly cry every time we have to witness his gruesome death. I hope they understand how much it hurt to see one of the greatest characters of the show die a horrifying death. Bring Eddie back, you twin douchebags. Then we might forgive you for the trauma of losing him in the first place. Dustin's reaction only made the pain twice as agonizing. 😭
Now, eddie MAY be alive. His role fits perfectly with Kas. Kas is a guy in Dnd who died to bats. Then Kas turned into a vampire and venca used him as one of his henchmen. Then there was a sword that whispered to Kas that Vecna was the bad guy, kill him. Then Kas defeated vecna. Edit: my opinions have changed a bit, it would be cool but probably wouldn’t happen
This could def happen, as this situation has happened before with hopper, dying a heroic sacrificial “death” and even getting a proper send off. Not saying that hopper shouldn’t have come back, but I feel like if Eddie came back as a vampire its just kind of repetitive and unnecessary
@@dominicwilliamson7912 I'm just saying. If hopper came back mabye eddie will too. And mabye I'm saying this stuff because I miss eddie. I do believe he may come back
I loved Eddie so much. I love how he was so kind deep down, especially with Chrissy. I also think his character growth was INSANE. He went from playing d&d to shredding in a alternate dimension to ward off possessed bats. KING. 👑
Eddie is such a kind, passionate, lovable disaster. He's so considerate & understanding of Chrissy, not just reveling in the change in dynamic between the popular girl & the freak. He wants to make sure she knows what she's getting into, and doesn't want to see her get hurt. And then he spends most of the rest of the season so out of his depth with the insanity going on around him. Finally, he goes out a true hero.
Most Popular character of 2022. I don’t care what anyone says. This dude took over television with a force that was unmatched and never let our emotions go. I’d trade entire tv shows for Eddie being alive.
Kind of makes me think what probably went through Eddie's head is that he thought she'd be mean & scary because she was captain of the cheer squad and most of the time they're a bit snobbish! And scary because she was super popular and he wasn't!
It was so sad that everyone in Hawkins think that Eddie and "Hellfire club" was a cult all because mostly Jason convinced them too. we will probably know he won't be in the next season but I hope people will come to their senses to realize that Eddie is not the enemy and will make a memorial plague or something.
0:41 - in his first scenes at school I thought he was an asshole, 01:19 - but then came his scene with Krissy in the forest and he just throws himself back, he gave that smile, I start showing all his sweetness, that's when I fell in love 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Eddie's friendship with Dustin made his death all the more heartbreaking, and I sobbed for the rest of the show. Everyone who has a say in this series has insisted Eddie won't be back. Even Joseph Quinn confirmed this. Now, that REALLY made me cry! 😭😭😭😭😭
Eddie may be alive because in the scene where Eddie says "this is music" he holds up an Iron Maiden album and their mascots name is Eddie and in one of their other albums it has their mascot (Eddie) on it and some graffiti that says "Eddie Lives"
Also that album came out in 1986, and season 5 will be taking place in ‘86 since season 4 was in ‘85, if I remember correctly. So the continuity for the graffiti being there would make sense for Eddie Munson AND Eddie The Head
Definitely killed off one of the better characters of the show.. would love to see the return in ST5 but if not the show must go on and Eddie will forever be remembered for the kind-hearted epic legend he was ❤️ RIP Eddie ❤️
Keep in mind, both the Duffer Brothers and Joseph Quinn never explicitly said Eddie was out of the show, they said he was dead but this could mean that Eddie as a person is dead and Kas has taken over in season 5. Literally, whenever they're asked they just get vague and quiet
BOB I EDDIE TO BOHATEROWIE HAWKINS. Zastanawia mnie czemu Bracia muszą zawsze zabijsć postacie do których sie najbardziej przywiązuje ;( tak mi przykro...
The coolest thing about this show, and Eddie of course, is our beloved Dungeon Master was preparing to graduate in 1986...the very same year I graduated high school. You can say this show was for my generation as well. Ah, the memories! And yeah, Metallica's Master of Puppets album was the #1 best that they've ever done because every single song on it was awesome!! If only there had been an Eddie in my graduating class.
