it’s not letting me post a description, so i’m putting it here: i made this for some friends who haven’t seen season four, so there’s some extra long clips for context for them. (and some of these clips are just steddie bc gay people hehe
Look at it from Eddie's perspective. He's wanted for multiple homicides, innocent of them or not. The thing that inadvertently framed him is a dark wizard from another dimension sort of. If he wasnt planning to come back he was certainly considering that he might not, and whether or not he even should given his situation back in Hawkins.
I had someone tell me that as well, didnt understand what a compliment that was until hearing it again here, I miss the real me. Be your awesome selves 🤪
The fact that the line “dontcha big boy” wasn’t in the script just makes that scene so much better!! 13:41 in the end Eddie is and will always be a hero
Steve is the overprotective mom who is tired of the kids getting in trouble and having to hurdle them like sheep. And Eddie is the laid back dad who encourages stupid decisions but also protects the kids from stupid decisions. Mainly because mama Steve says so.😆
@@englishatheart 1) Lol, I’m not the only one who calls Steve the mom 2) I’m well aware that dads can be like that to. The “mom/mama” thing is more of a stereotype title people give regardless of gender (especially in different fandom communities)
*I wish Dustin made the Sherlock Holmes joke to Eleven and she looked at him all confused. Would've been a funny nod to her being cast as Sherlock Holmes' sister, Enola Holmes* 😂
Yeah, he thought so poorly of himself that he set up his own character’s death because he thought the cast didn’t like working with him. Turns out he was everyone’s fav!😭❤️
Well they used Vecna, technically Eddie could be resurrected as their interpretation of "Kaz" the vampire who betrays Vecna. Since El can do bullshit resurrection powers now I'm guessing technically so can Vecna, who I still believe to ultimately be a servant of the mind flayer even though he believes he's in control.
At first when Steve and Robin didn't tell anyone Robin was lesbian, I didn't get it but thinking back on the world at that time it makes way more sense. I feel so bad that Steve can't tell anyone, and everyone thinks he just won't date her but he's being a good friend. #Ally
Yeah but Steve’s character really shined through when she came out. Rather than be confrontational or judgmental he talked to her. That was even after their amazing chemistry was present for the whole season.
its funny how the reason that Dustin and steve are friends is because Dustin was at the Wheelers house and Steve just showed up to meet Nancy but then he ended up fighting a bunch of demo-dogs. Which bonded the two
I think it’s missing the ”It’s his tone, right?” scene with Eddie and Steve in The Upside Down. That’s that line that really makes the two of them Dustin’s ”dads” to me. Besides that, great clips.
Not to mention, the sound of Dustin jumping in the background sounds exactly like the Uruk-hai marching on Helm's Deep and if you're a LOTR fanatic like me that stuff gives goosebumps
i was not prepared for the end of this show, man. it was three am and i was vibing, and then i was no longer vibing and suddenly completely wrecked emotionally
He did things that pretty much nobody else will ever get to claim they did. He played heavy metal in an alternate dimension, fought a swarm of evil hive bats and gave his life to save a town that hated him. He was a hero.
I love this show and the vibe of the friend group!! They can be condescending assholes to each other. But then literally save each others life and act like siblings.💀
Steve: What is this feeling so sudden and new Also Steve a couple’s second later: I don’t think I’m straight now Me: guys, CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THIS, PLEAEEEEEE
3:51- Even though the fandom kind of makes light of this scene, it's kind of startling. Eddie has always been 'the freak', outcasted by everyone because he didn't fit in. And in this scene, Eddie has a pretty extreme, defensive reaction to Steve, almost like some of the kids from high school have come to hurt him before. As someone who has extreme reactions to any prospect of hurt against oneself, this is what it looks like to me. Eddie is hurting Steve before he can hurt him, not letting the popular kids get him first. Granted, Steve isn't that type of person to hurt people (more conformed during high school, though you could make some exceptions for Jonathan though that was in defense of Nancy) and has grown a lot, but it really shows Eddie's trauma caused by kids at school by people who were like Steve in high school. It also makes their relationship more significant because it shows Steve's growth as a person and how much Eddie has learned to trust Steve in such a short amount of time, evolving from threatening, to back and forth jests, flirty jokes and bonding over their relationship with Dustin. And then they killed Eddie. wtf Duffer Brothers? And obviously, because he was scared of getting caught but still.
Alternative title: Eddie Munson acting high and a hilariously good dad to Dustin and Steve Harrington being a overprotective, whiny and hilarious mother to Dustin 😂😅
At least Eddie is respectful to the young ladies. Also, when Eddie said that he would graduate I just realize that he dies before he does. Oh my God that hurts, that hurts my heart. But at least he died a hero. That’s the most important part.
Idk why but when Eddie says “it’s my year I can feel it. 86baby” it makes me sad cause it was actually his year to be a hero. He was and died a hero. It sucks that the best characters always die and the ones that suck LIVE 😟 why is that? And also can we all agree that we would have all wanted to see Eddie flip the principal the bird and snatch his diploma🥺BUT HE NEVER GOT TO 💔
Eddie and Dustin: We are not heroes! Dustin to Eddie’s uncle: He was a hero! And I wish everyone could see that…. Yes ik they probably are not the actual lines, I just remember it being something like that 😂
Making me cry over Eddie again, damn 😔 He was genuinely my favorite (new) character in S4 I really hope the theories about him being back in S5 are true, as unlikely as it is, because the symbolism I've seen mentioned is pretty compelling
