Very interesting movie... Speaking about this five years ago.. He fit right into this movie... The character reminded a lot of us of a person we knew. Both women deserved a friend like Mr. Church... Nobody is perfect, but only for just being human.. Mr. Church was that perfect gentleman. Some things you do need to keep to yourself. Mind your Business where it supposed to be... One day things will come together and tell you why things were like they became. We got to know how everybody felt about life in this movie.. That was the special parts. I appreciate it. 🥰🥰🥰 2022
Eddie Murphy kept many things private. Mr. Church revealed a small truth though. He ended up taking care of two white women and there are zero black women in this film with speaking lines. Racism is just NOT going to be touched. It arouses too much jealousy and envy, but the feeling of just being called your name by loved ones and not reminded of your color...beautiful film. It was for the broken and to those that are starting from scratch, lean in with forgiveness and vision and eventually, you'll learn to make a little music on the way
I place this movie on par with Lawrence of Arabia... that's the degree of impact Mr. Murphy's contribution made in this poignant movie that had such an effect on my view of my life.
