He’s long overdue for his Kennedy center honors and AFI Life Achievement Award for his contributions to motion pictures and the culture for decades P.S. he recieved the mark twain prize award for comedy in 2015 from the Kennedy center in Washington DC. But the Kennedy center honors and mark Twain prize are completely different lifetime achievement awards

I LOVE LOVE his stories. He has crossed paths and had such amazing experiences with old Hollywood and music icons. And his delivery is so laid back and nonchallant. I didn't like him when he was young, but now have a new appreciation for him, because his work stands the test of time. Funny and smart then. Funny and smart now.

it took 40 years for us to watch a new beverly hills cop, but it really amazing to see our childhood back on the set . Even me still not born when BHC 3 release . BHC 3 release on year 1994 ,and i was born 2 years later .

Maybe he means since filming. Figure it takes a year or two to film before the movie comes out. He’s born in 61 & said he was 21 while filming. That would make it approximately 82 / 83 during filming. My best guess.

Police shenanigans can't happen in 2024 the same way as it did back in the 80's; therefore, you can't make a proper sequel to Beverly Hills Cops in 2024. We live in the age of smartphones with video cameras. We live in a cancel culture where cops get canned for minor offenses if caught on video. Axel Foley hijinks are not possible in 2024.

A couple of early hits and Chicago. Otherwise, his has been the most inexplicably bizarre, misbegotten, and awful choice-laden career I've ever seen. What a waste of an absolute monster talent who, by all public and cinematic appearances, is more and more obsessed with his physical appearance than delivering memorable performances. Goes on inside the Actors Studio and spends the entire time being needlessly cagey and adjusting his collar and cuffs. It wasn't a nervous habit. It was narcissism.
