See i don't get that. I do believe that Brian and Eddie are the strongest of the group. But strongmen have categories that they are better at than others. Nick is shield carry (which i believes he holds the world record) and hip lifts (which i believe he holds the world record). So he's one of the strongest men in the world. And Robert oberst is said to, "have the strongest shoulders in the world" and stuff that has to do with shoulders is where he shines. I do believe that overall, Eddie and Brian are the strongest of the group. However, Robert and Nick are not are away from them. All 4 of them are some of the strongest men in the world.
What is really impressive about Eddie is his mental strength, it's like he beats a lot of people because he switches something in his mind which just increases his physical strength
Hes like 6'2. Still pretty tall. I always thought Oberst was shorter until he said in another video recently that he's 6'8 and in this video was the same height as Brian.
There is still a difference between pure speed and athleticism though. Back in like 2010 everybody thought Brian was too much of an athlete and not strong enough to win wsm. So he can be really dangerous this year
I just want to point out that not only is Eddie one of the strongest two of the group, he is far and away the most in shape from a cardio standpoint. From swimming to speed walking with extremely heavy objects, his cardio levels are amazing for someone of his size and strength.
Yea these guys look big, but the camera doesn't do them justice. Let me remind you. Nick Best: 6 foot 2; 320lbs Eddie Hall: 6 foot 3; 360lbs Robert Oberst: 6 foot 7; 410lbs Bryan Shaw: 6 foot 8; 440lbs The average American man is 5 foot 9; 190(ish) These guys are literally monsters.
Did you notice that this and the last three videos in this playlist were all compilations of one strongman winning challenges and this one, so the one from Eddie Hall is the longest video which means he won the most challenges. Go Beast ❤️
Unless we evolve as a species or strongmen and strongwomen breed with eachother to make the ultimate super babies, its unlickely. Well i have no doubt someone will break these records someday because humans are like that but to the point where its not looked at as extraordinary then i have my doubts
Thor almost already did it but his foot slipped, without a suit. He will beat it within 2 years, probably withinin a year because I think he's getting into the powerlifting stuff more. He is just a ridiculous human, Eddie is too, but if Eddie had been like 6'5" or taller, he'd have made Thor look like nothing.
@@moresquatsmoretwats6298 I think he might be taking his time out of professional respect for Eddie. Eddie needs to be able to say the 500kg deadlift thing a little more, but he's already getting into acting and movies now like he's wanted to, so Thor won't have to wait much longer.
His static strength is off the charts. Awesome watching this guy compete in his prime, the fact he’s still able to lift like he does at such a “lighter” weight is incredible.

@Julian Machen eddie also said that 2017 eddie hall was the strongest man to walk the earth, which is pretty obvious. Plus eddie was dehydrated so he wasnt at his full potential 😁
