I am 65 years young and this music still makes me want to dance, my husband is looking at me funny I am dancing around the house lol I love it still makes me feel young again. Thanks
I wish they made an Eddie and the Cruisers III. I'd like to know what happened to Eddie after the big reveal. And what happened to the rest of his original band members.
FYI-The music was recorded and performed by John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band from Narragansett, Rhode Island. All the members had ties-both family and friendship to both Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes. The connections were New Jersey, Rhode Island and New York. it was a pleasure to see them a long time ago-It was a Rock & Roll dance party you never wanted to end! Best wishes to all!
It's because he sang the song and then the vocal track was played over the top. There are rumors that there was a series of days during filming the first movie where Michael argued with the Director and vice versa about singing the songs himself. Apparently several things were thrown over the course of the arguments and one of the car windows had to be replaced because of it.
I love ❤❤🎸🎸🎵🎷👍😎😎💯🎹🎹🎵🎶🎶😍😍this song in this movie when Michael Pare doing his character and singing Running through the fire 🔥🔥! He reminds me of Bruce Springsteen with a shirt and pants!! Great movie and great awesome music 👍🎶🎶😊
Mike Paire played this character very well, but the credit for the music that made these Eddie and the Cruisers movies work goes to John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band
Love love love Eddie and the Cruisers the first one was actually my favorite but a friend of mine has sent me music off of Eddie and the Cruisers 2 which I also loved and just a little trivia the little house that they meet in at the end a little cabin that's on Bon Jovi's property but I love these guys they're great thank you for posting thank you Julie for sending it to me
I love this song, and the movie--almost better than the first "Eddie and the Cruisers". Both had good music, and more importantly, both had Michael Pare.😊
I've listened to the music of different bands and I must say that just like he says in the movie, in order to make great music, you have to put feeling into it. Real music has to live. I've seen some bands who play some good music and I"ve also seen bands who play the kind of music where it's easy for someone who puts their heart and soul into music/work that they produce, to be able to tell that they do the totally opposite. What some need to do is to take the time and "listen to your own self", listen to recordings of how you sound and then you will see for yourself what you are accomplishing. The energy that is inside of you is what you have to let out in order to make some great music and your heart needs to be in it. You can't have the kind of attitude that you are so excited and just want to be in front of an audience and on a stage getting some attention, and yet you can't perform. You are gaining nothing. That's why you see some get credit the do not rightfully deserve. I believe that if a person really loves what they do, they put their heart and soul, energy into their work and don't settle for second best. I believe in "rightfully earning the credit that one gets". This is some great music in the movie. You can hear and feel the emotion and feeling, energy put into it.
Love this movie. Cliche, you bet. But the best kind. I also love that he is playing a Fender Mustang, basically a student guitar. I used to own one. Liked it better than a Les Paul.
@@arthurmeyersconstruc the actors was just lip singing in great fictional movie. It's John Cafferty voice in the movie for the songs and the soundtrack. His band is John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. He was not in the movie just his voice but they used his Sax player in the movie
My favorite one, favorite scene was the one after Eddie broke his guitar and the sax player walked up on him burn in his songs and says; first u destroy ur guitar, and now ur songs, what's next, Eddie says they're lousy songs they wont even burn, & the black guy says, it a good thing I know them by heart, cuz it'd be a shame to lose that many songs by Eddie Wilson, I knew it the 1st time I heard u play-----Busted!!!
I have always loved this movie and the original but check out another movie called, "The Commitments". If you like this one I think you will like it too.
Suggestion - Still Crazy - Awesome movie also - not Stir Crazy - 70's band trying to relive their past! Do yourself a favour and check it out - it'll be worth it not only for the actors but the awesome music........ Think - Jim Morrison and you'll be intrigued.
interesting comparing this to the 'stachless perf at the end of the movie, which is more pumped up and suited to be the climax of the movie. Great song both times, but this perf is edited a little more pedestrian, suited to the middle of the movie.
FACT : Eddie Wilson is a fictional character in that movie ,the real credit goes to the real singer n musicians who really made and played the music , John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band
