The smile Glen Hansard gives when Eddie is interacting with his daughter at the end is just the best. The genuine relationship between Hansard & the Vedder family is palpable, just fantastic. Also really loved Andrew Watt's playing & interacting with Eddie!
I'm glad, Eddie is taking the long way through his awesome career. Love him forever! Greetings from Germany. Never saw him live in my life, because I couldn`t afford it financially or in terms of health. But I still make this dream come true...........
I think as we get older OUR PAST is sooo NEAR IT is soo uncomfortable at times ..MY heart hurts I think there is a inbetween and it becomes a silence and MEMORIES and TEARS LOVE is not a fading moment IT is forever in us as us it goes away because it has to for a brief time ,,,,TRUTH and love and that warm warm feeling is undeniable I can actually cry with my heart in pain from my first love I left him we were together as kids and together for over 13 years and i left I love him today sooo very much I wish we could just be WE cant .. kids ect.. it is not going to ever be . MY heart aches for this second /and my tears are of a soothing thought of him FOREVER MY TEARS WILL FALL i dream about him often and it is still that WARM PLACE!!!
Everyone seem so joyful! What a blessing. I truly have tears in my eyes from the ending, it's ridiculously sweet to see Eddie having so much fun and glowing with love to his daughter. In my family everyone were strangers and if someone arrived it was the other one's cue to leave. No talking, no "mom" or "dad" let alone looking each other in the eyes, laughing and goofing around. I moved abroad a year ago and a few days ago I found out my dad was hospitalized several weeks ago. Whenever I see family people it gives me new ideas of what "family" could mean and wonder if it's something I'll ever acheive. Vedder & Grohl are my adopting fathers unbeknownly to them haha. It just feels good to have good men to look up to. I hope Eddie never underestimates what his music and he himself bring to the world. ♥️
My wife and I were there for that weekend. I’ve been to close to 2 dozen music festivals and this one was better than anything I’ve experienced before. There was an electricity, an energy the whole weekend that I can’t quite describe…from both the crowd and the musicians. Eddie actually played this twice that weekend, though the reason for the first was rather sad with KoL and their mother. It was spectacular both times! The guy just gets better and better!
I was there too , working. His voice is amazing & he never has a bad show ! I was stoked to meet Eddie ,& he's such a genuine , nice guy ! Loved seeing his daughter Olivia sing "my father's daughter" !!
@eddievedder1919 I'm just seeing this now. I'm doing well thanks to great music like this and it's pushing me to not be afraid to keep taking the "long way" in life. Hope you and yours are well. This music makes life a joy and speaks to me on levels. Having a love of great tunes and an ever changing soundtrack in life is imperative. The purity in this music is so spectacular and drives me. No pun... Man... I'm honored to be able to hear and love this music. How are you?
Well worth the wait. Watching at 3.45am est. What a performamce. Eddie Vedder full of engery and vocals as good as ever. Such a cute father daughter moment with Harper. Proud Dad.
I know! She was so shy during the performance (her first time singing in front of that many people) and Eddie was amazing at trying to make her feel comfortable by just goofing off in the stage like at the end
I simply just can't wrap my head around the fact that you have been around for this long, and that I just recently discovered you and your music at the tender age of 48. (I blame the radio stations for that.)
Na minha opinião, o maior músico e compositor da história do rock. A passagem do tempo aprimorou ainda mais seu talento e performance de palco, além de ter uma simpatia incrível. Meu artista favorito ♥️ adoro te ouvir.
Didn't see it listed anywhere, so worth noting the band, billed as Eddie Vedder and the Earthlings: Eddie, obviously Chad Smith (RHCP, Chickenfoot) on drums Glen Hansard (The Frames, Swell Season) on acoustic guitar Josh Klinghoffer (RHCP, Pearl Jam) on organ Pino Palladino (The Who, The Law, Nine Inch Nails) on bass Andrew Watt (California Breed, Grammy-winning producer) on electric guitar
It's always pleasurable to experience a band with the wisdom and confidence not to swerve too far off their sweet spot. Eddie just crushes it. He's timeless. His talent is limitless. We're watching American genius at work. Apprentice these moments before they pass us by.
That was AMAZING!!! Awesome performances, Eddie never disappoints, so nice to see Harper up there too with her father!! Incredible song I LOVE IT!! Thank you so very much for sharing this, it was wonderful!! 😊💗🤘✌️
Mr. Vedder- I grew up listening to you and the guys. So many good memories and times gone past with PJ playing the soundtrack to my life My son is 14 and playing your music and watching all the original videos and music.. I enjoy nothing else then he and I listening to PJ and him giving me fun fact he has read or learned about. Thank you for years of music and showmanship! You are still an inspiration to young musicians Keep rocking my friend 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
What a wonderful voice! Every day I love more and more! 💯 . The person who comes to dislike this beautiful song surely suffers from some disorder...You are wonderful Ed.💚💚💚
A positive to a negative to a positive, again? You might have some dueling mental forces. See if you can't harness those positives and curb those negatives next chance. Good advice for me too. 😉
@@eddievedder1443Since the 90's# i have all the albums.saw you guys live a few times and i love you all* no thanks because i'm the one who is grateful 4your music🙏💙
Damn, this is a beautiful performance. And with Chad Smith on drums! Who's the rest of the backing band? EDIT: Pino Palladino, Josh Klinghoffer, Andrew Watt and Glen Hansard - DUH! and WOW!
What a voice, what a group of musicians. I love this man and his voice. It’s a great getaway. While the reaction of his face and love for his daughter is immense and full of joy, being a girl dad myself bring me pure joy. Love love it!!!!!!
Holy shit. Long-time Pearl Jam fan (and Ten Club member) but I never really caught on with Vedder's solo material. But holy shit, this was amazing! I may have to revisit and see if I've been missing out after all. Also great to see (and hear!) Klinghoffer on keys. Super band. Absolutely fantastic performance.
Amazing moment, amazing song! I liked it since the first time I heard it in this year. Wish I was there! Pearl Jam is my favorite band since I was 5 or 6 years old, thanks to my dad and now seeing Eddie enjoying life in this way, causes me a lot of joy!
Nice high energy song...and the band seems happy to play. It took me a while to listen to Eddie's solo stuff and I'm glad I finally came around and gave it a chance!
Tres cosas La primera, la voz de Eddie Vedder es maravillosa La segunda, el sonido de la batería es excelente Y la tercera, una canción extraordinaria.
I wanna know how Pino Palladino has enough time to tour with as many people as he does… Guy is a machine for YEARS now and probably the best bass player around.
