Eddie Vedder turned the whole series around!! Down 3-1 and Eddie Vedder sings take me out to the ball game, and wham bam the cubs win and barely deter elimination.. then we barely win the next game 3-2, spank em in the next and bring it to game 7 and have to go extra innings... then we won the freakin world series finallly!!!! THANK YOU EDDIE VEDDER FOR SAVING THE CUBS!!
My best friend committed suicide 2 weeks before the cubs went into the post season..he was the biggest Cubs fan and the biggest Pearl Jam fan. The World Series was tough...Congratulations Cubs!
Totally loved all the love showed to Grandpa Rossy. All Cubs fan knows who had the biggest heart this whole year. Rossy will be unreplaceable. I can almost guarantee him being a coach or something very soon.

Not a cubs fan at all and I had nothing vested in last nights game. Matter of fact I've seen my team win 5 times and it doesn't get old...That was awesome last night and this performance was too!! Very cool!!

Eddie Vedder has always been a terrible "singer" but this is one of his worst. Thankfully you can't hear Eddie very well in this performance, mainly you hear the recorded voice of Harry Caray. And Harry, while not a professional and not being a particularly great singer, sounds better than Eddie. What I can't understand is how this talentless DB manages to get on so many public stages. Go to see The Who or Pete Townshend, and there's Eddie climbing up on stage to ruin a few songs. Same thing with The Rolling Stones, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty. And here he is again at a Cubs game, you can't get away from the guy. up Somebody get the hook for this clown. I have no problem with people going to see him at Pearl Jam; if your taste in "music" is that bad, then have at it. But why does he inflict himself on the rest of us, screwing up events that we would otherwise enjoy? I understand that the guy is a first class marketer of himself, good for him. But he has fourth rate singing talent, at best. It's like the guy won an average man contest and gets to go around the world celebrating his mediocrity.
Italian Chopper I think everyone except Cleveland fans want the Cubs to win! I mean it is the longest streak without a championship! The NBA rigged the lottery and Cleveland got the #1 pick 3 years in a row and LeBron James bailed on Miami because he saw that they were getting older so he went championship chasing back to his original team...that's why I don't respect him as much as other people do
