I totally agree that the Edelkrone is well worth saving up for. It is a fantastic tool that I wish I had had to use years ago. Love your idea of using on slider to zoom in between things. Thanks for the video.

pls what ball head is best to use with the sliderone pro v2 when trying vertical shots , i have the Manfrotto MHXPRO-3W X-Pro 3-Way Head, is that ok?

Yes, you can use that, you just need to make sure the tripod is fixed to something so it's sturdy and won't topple over. The great thing about the FlexTILT is that you can angle it in such a way that you can do vertical or horizontal and you don't really need to fix the slider to anything.

Hey, I've the newer head, but I'm happy with that. You can fix the position with the screws on the bottom, so that it is in line with the head.

Yes, I played around with the screws, but could never get it straight with my slider or head, so it just drove me mad, I really don't get on with it, we don't like each other 😂 So when I finally got the FlexTilt Head 2 I was so relieved! I love it, and am seriously considering getting another for my other head 😂

Sure you can, you just need to attach your camera sideways.

hi, its me jeff, i just made my channel, still learning , i probabley been chatting with u about buying edelkrone, on another account, anyway u recomended on black friday, they said its starting now , on their site, do u recon i purchase now its on 30percent , or when its ending black friday, or u think most be sold out if i wait till say 27, th, their sales now 16-30th

Hi Jeff! Congratulations on the channel, would love to have seen some example footage in that Andoer dolly! Yes, I remember, good you waited, 30% is quite the saving! I would recommend buying whatever you need asap, the Edelkrone sales usually sell very well so I'd pick up what you can now.

Hey Phil, this video could be a nice start to a torture test of that nice G lens. :) The probe kinda requires an offset assembly or the slider gets in the way. Head2 arrives tomorrow. woo hoo

Thanks so much for the review, Phillip. Can the camera be attached vertically to the tilt head (for taking vertical videos)? Examples would be like videos for instagram that require the camera to be in a vertical position. Thanks!

Well, this can be achieved with an L bracket for example, I reviewed an awesome one from 8SINN recently, go check it out.

@@PhillipSkraba Thanks for your prompt reply. I emailed the edelkrone people and they just replied back saying the flex tilt head by itself can be used for vertical mounting. @@PhillipSkraba I can only think of two things it would be quicker at than my tripod and fluid tho. 1 top down shot and 2 used as a mini tripod on a table (food etc).

Well, you'll run into the same problem, the base will not twist, and it's only one armed. I'd go with the Edelkrone every time.

Did I hear you say "eldekrone" a few times? :) Fun fact, "edel" (not elde) means Noble and "krone" means Crown (both in German and Dutch). So "noble crown". Thanks for the review, ordered mine today!

I'm afraid not Bruno, that would be great though. Check my links before judging, no affiliate links there, so no. I actually have a couple of these 3rd party heads and they suck, and I wish I would have bought the original straight away and saved myself some money and headache.
