I used to come here with my family all the time as a kid, I miss it so much 😭 they’ve really changed the food place, I remember back in the 2000’s the theme was forest-like with little animal animatronics.

Thanks for the awesome video! So can military service member's extended family stay with them too (parents, siblings, etc.)? Or just dependents (spouse, kids)? Curious if you know what "family members" includes.

Extended family can stay too, you’ll just need to sign them in. I brought my entire family (and my wife’s family) one summer but we needed to sign everyone in that didn’t have a military ID card.

Can disabled veterans go there? I went there in 2005 while I was stationed there and it was amazing! Now, I’m 100% disabled veteran. Are disabled veterans allowed there now?

@@DTVDanielTelevision Awesome! A tour of what a retired Army guy can do on the post would also be helpful. I was stationed in West Germany from ‘80 to ‘83 and we went to Garmisch all the time. I’m sure it has changed a bit :). I plan on going next summer. Your videos are helping so much with the planning!!!!

Was working there, when it was being built.... For me, though... why anyone would come to Garmisch Germany as American and stay in American facility.... ???? Is beyond me!

I have been stationed in Germany twice and stayed in hotels all over Germany including Edelweiss. This place is a glorified Holiday Inn it is overpriced and has mediocre food. Garmisch is absolutely beautiful but stay somewhere else.

Hey thanks man! And to be honest, I didn't even know about the cabins until after I filmed this 🤦🏽‍♂️. But I'll be back there next weekend to film their "Ride the Alps" event as well as for Oktoberfest, so I'll get some footage then! And geez 13yrs, how'd you get that lucky? 🤔
