EdgeTX internal module missing | HOW TO FIX

Love your videos! Today I learned that my radio can decide by itself what internal module it has (or not) in the hardware menu... It changed by itself!

You are the MAN !!! Finally, after all the misinformation about the TX16S floating around. You had the fix for the Internal Module I was having so much trouble with Express LRS loading ! - Thank YOU !! :-)))

This issue was driving me bonkers! Trying to bind to a Goosky S2 just wasn't working. Looked everywhere on the internet but to no avail. Then I found this video, and once again Mr Bardwell to the rescue. Thank you Sir.

What a stuff around lol, good thing that you have put out this video for those people who have just updated their radio. I have the Zorro with internal 4 in 1 but haven’t updated it as yet, already flying 1 quad, and was going to update my tx16s to edge tx, and I wasn’t sure what I needed to do. I’m definitely keeping the tx16s as a backup and also for doing majorly long flights once I get a few more long range planes. Looking forward to having the touch screen on the tx16s, purely for the speed of programming that radio.

Had the same issue on the Zorro with the internal 4in1 MultiPM. Could only select CRSF. Weirdly I could flash the 4in1 just fine but not select it. Even checked if they put in a ELRS module by accident. After searching through the menus, I figured it out eventually.

Mine was just gone. Reflashed and bingo. Thanks joshua

I got a brand new Radiomaster MULTI Boxer radio from RDQ and it was set to crossfire. I did not update the software.

Hi Joshua .. I changed my CRSF to multi on my Radiomaster Pocket Cc2500 .. It’s only showing FRSKY X or X2 .. no good for D8 which I need as trying to bind Emax Freestyle 2 .. any ideas 😀☘️🇮🇪👍

new to the hobby and I got a tx16s Mark ii right off the bat. The 1st thing I did is upgrade the firmware which removed a bunch of the bloat on the sdcard. I don't think there is anything the stock sdcard has that you cannot put back on it. Like I have the ELRS version and the multi stuff is unnecessary as well as any of the TBS, ghost, frsky plugins. the extra languages, and all of the model plane junk, Might as well start with a clean slate. It would really be nice to have someone go through EdgeTX and tell us the recommended settings as well as what to ignore/clean up if you only fly quads.

I flashed my T-Pro with open TX and don't have that option. I can't figure out how to get the internal RF to show CRSF like it should. Is there a way to flash open TX to have it reflect the correct one or do I need to change it to edge TX?

So my Radio Boxer I upgraded and then now I check internal module it states it’s off. And when select the tools screen and select express elrs it stays stuck kn loading screen.

I just got a radiomaster zorro 4in1 with TBS crossfire nano external module. I just bought the geprc rocket plus tbs crossfire edition as well. I updated the external module, then paired it with reciever on drone. Flashing blue light (means update now going to drone module) then now solid green on drone and remote. I know remote is paired because it says telemetry lost if drone is powered off. Now, I have solid green lights on both drone and remote external module. Both are paired. But when trying to get stick feedback on betaflight or receiver feedback at all, nothing. I move drone around with my hand on 3D model betaflight first page, drone moves. But nothing on reciever tab. I tried serial uart, crsf module. I tried disabling abc filter on zorro remote settings (tells you to do that on betaflight settings). I need help please. Its got to be something in betaflight is wrong settings wise. I looked up youtube videos for days. Can never find a tbs crossfire setup on zorro, only elrs. Thank you in advance!

After i flashed the multi module had a "no multimodule telemetry" message but once i got into one of my existing models and cycle the protocol options, after that i could see the version id of the multmodule...so all was well

Thanks for sharing this video with me. I actually stumbled across this setting while trying to figure it out on my own. I have it set to CRSF, my question is: is the Baudrate the frequency? It gives the options for 115k, 400k, 921k, 1.87M, 3.75M, 5.25M. I'm running 2.4ghz, not sure what baudrate to use.

I dont know if this is realated but I had some problems where there was the internal as "multi" and it didnt recognise is as external either. You can go into "radio.yml" on the SD card and change the internal module to CROSSFIRE or CRSF.

I thought the JB special edition Radio Master came with Express LRS internal and not the 4 in 1. Am I confused? Probably, since I have only had my Radio Master for a couple of weeks and have yet to open the manual or even attempt to bind it to any of my receivers.

Do You have an opinion on OpenHD/RubyHD/WFB-ng or should I just stick to Analog FPV,I will not be buying DJI Walk snail or HD Zero

Hi Joshua! Please help me, I have the Jumper T Lite V2 with internal ELRS and the option to CRSF does not appear in the RADIO SETUP. Then I tried to fix like you did, on the HARDWARE but it just not have the option to select the internal module, only the baud rate.

This is kinda off topic from the video but I really need help from anyone that can please I have a LiteRadio 3 pro version CC2500 and I have soldered a ELRS nano receiver to my baby ape drone and I have ordered the Elrs tx module it comes in tomorrow but I want to program the receiver now and fly my drone without the mod but I have no idea if I can or can’t do that can anyone help or give me a helpful video to watch please? Or if you can Mr. Bardwell can you help me please
