I love how they went over Edgeworth thoroughly examining the crime scene, but at the same time somehow never bothered to have his witness remove her helmet before she testified.

@junkiesama5325 if you pick an incorrect answer Phoenix basically says something so stupid Edgeworth tells him to get naked. Granted I understand them having a walkthrough but sometimes it's worth getting a wrong answer just for the dialogue. (Still iirc Strategy wiki actually points out that specific line so maybe we'll get lucky lmao)

I'm pretty sure he's named after Sakamoto Ryuichi, the famous composer whose song "Thousand Knives" inspired the game's original trial song. I can't be sure, but a lot more Japanese sources agree on this and I found no reputable English sources to confirm the dragon thing...

@@wherefancytakesme Can confirm that "Ryu" does in fact mean dragon, but cannot confirm if that was the inspiration for his name in Japanese, or for calling him "Phoenix" in the English version, or even if they use the right character in his Japanese name for it to refer to "dragon" at all. I am, however, very impressed with the localization team for finding so many ways to make jokes about him being "Wright" or wrong and the coming back from ashes thing the pheonix is known for. And "Nick" is a cute nickname for someone named "Phoenix" too! A+++ job on the English dialogue.
