Crystal Wright: That’s still the same, silly! Phoenix Wright: ! How’d you get here Crystal?! Maya: um.... you know her? Phoenix Wright: Y-you don’t need to know that now! I-I’ll explain later! Edgeworth: .... I can’t believe I got shot off by a 13 year-old girl. Judge: *silent shock*
philip john bonifacio They’re a fan made OC, that technically is Phoenix’s daughter. But Trucy was already in that role, and I pretty much said: “Well, I guess she’s now related to Apollo in some way.” Then Athena came along and: “Now she has a backstory with Athena.” Help, I can’t decide an origin for them!
Objection ! you said that dbz is about power levels and strength but vegeta's over 9 thousand line proves otherwise the line is to represent the fact that power levels don't mean anything in a fight in addition dbs shows that strength is not everything as proven in the tournament were people used robots and allusions to defeat there opponent . ( just a joke don't get triggered )
There's another brilliant Detail I've realized about Von Karma... He never uses his right arm, and is always keeping it behind his back. This is foreshadowing Von Karma's Crime that fateful day. He never uses that arm, until caught.
I like how the in the game the updated autopsy report is "the victim died instantly, but may have lived for a few minutes after that" while in the anime its "the victim died pretty much instantly"
Dang if this guy can generate windstorms so strong it can blow over a person by simply pointing at them, imagine their full destructice capabilities if he actually punched the guy instead.
I love that in the beginning, Mia just doesn't react at all. Like Phoenix literally does some wizard stuff with his objection, and Mia is just like "Yup it all checks out"
It’s pretty simple, actually: in-between artists. Multiple people work on the same scene, leading to difference in art style. That table slam did a good job redirecting the viewer’s attention tho, so I say it’s a pretty smart way to hide it.
Von karma uses snap on edgeworth and Phoenix ... It failed and didnt work All of phoenix friends uses last hope and confess. Its super effective. You won 10k points of objections and hold it points. And respec.
17:28 i for one am both in awe and extremely confused at this series of events wright uses airbending powers, knocking the defendant over as von karma meerly flinches, karma stops him from comboing further, causing an epic staredown thats so powerful everything catches on fire, only for the judge to knock both of them out and put out the courtroom with his gavel and declares wright to be correct as an anime split happens between wright and von karma as he protests with the judge. if they arent selling tickets to these trials they should start
@@DraceEmpressa I absolutely love the possibility that is saying the name gavin without a first name, which means either kristoph, Klavier or both of the brothers could fit this
The fact real court is just as stupid as this series sometimes is so funny. In the us you get court reports like "Your honour. I one hundred percent was high off my ass during the time of death. There's literally no way I was able to kill him." "Right but your crack pipe was near the body." "Oh."
Jokes apart, i REALLY loved the way they remixed the original OST's from the classic trilogy. They're bangers, even without the "DS vibes". Freaking legends.
12:42 Old lady who was mentioned in the crime: some other people were there on the day of the murder. Everyone: (gasps) Maya fey: (screams loudly) Edgeworth: Impossible, why didn’t I hear about this before. That shows that they freak out when something stupid happens
Rewatching this I realized something. 27:03 Manfred Von Karma Tries to snap but fails. Every time he snapped before, it was to take control or show his control over everything and everyone at that time. But in that scene, he fubs it and there's no sound. He has no power over anyone anymore. And all his attempts fall silent.
*Points at someone* People: Oh are you doing that as a Mr. Wright reference? Me: *Starts muttering facts of why he should be arrested over and over again with literally a pile of rubbish.*
I just noticed something. When you hear someone yell "Objection" but without the effects and the music is still playing, its like in the game when you yell "OBJECTION!" and the music is still playing, they even did this detail, best anime game.
Game: Phoenix raises an Objection getting the witness attention, music escalates Anime: Phoenix raises and objection. Witness is sent out flying with the stand, Edgeworth takes cover, Casualties are made in the process. It was all in name of JUSTICE.
Manfred von Karma: is indestructible Franziska: Pretty much the same Edgeworth: Pretty much the same Godot: If you haven't took a case you've never lost so he's indestructible as well Phoenix: *May my grandfather's ministry of justice slayer power bless me...*
@@AlvinaYunoa that is correct. The sound of the r in Japanese does not exist or its own, so kanas will always use the "ru" kana as a replacement. As such, Karuma is very much correct.
I like the part when Cody interrupts the count I don’t think that in the original game. And the reaction of the actor who plays the Samurai . I feel it add more to the characters and makes the scene better
02:41 and so a meme was born , and even though as far as I'm aware he only did it in this case , Edgeworth became the autopsy report updater in the world
the audio for these clips is crisped to a perfect consistency. Takes me back to when I was little watching totally 100% legal reuploads of the pokemon anime on my mums youtube account
11:29 11:29 11:29 This is probably the handsomest face I've ever seen Phoenix make even though he clearly looks like a father who's daughter just screamed loudly in a store because she didn't get the candy she wanted xD
@@adelynorata3766 it was an model who went there for an photshooting if i remember right The suspect was susoected bc after she was home he, who was her boyfriend, tried to visit her but no one opend the door and the "witness: saw him leaving so pinned it on him.
say what you will about the anime, but the voice actors were invredibly well casted, and gave great performances. Mia especially, who in my opinion has a difficult voice to pin down, had the perfect actress. The voices definitely delivered, even where the animation didn't necessarily.
When people ask which anime power they want: Average person: “I’d be able to use Ki Blasts or have a quirk like All for One” Me: THE POWER TO SEND GALE FORCE WINDS JUST BY POINTING LIKE PHOENIX
Fun Fact: The Voice actor for Phoenix Wright here in the Anime is the exact same VA for Johnny Joestar from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, in both the games "Eyes of Heaven" and "All Star Battle". Both Johnny Joestar and apparently Phoenix Wright have fingers as guns. So does that make this a Jojo reference...?
@@ikmwrime29sorryaira60Well, Steel Ball Run's first volume was published in 2004. And the first Phoenix Wright game came out in 2002. So, yeah. You are right.
