Wednesday always claim to be the biggest club in Yorkshire but that ground looks far from full. Tin pot has been club that live on history from a century ago.
We’ve not been out the relegation zone since the very first game of the season after 2 years in the third devision and 25 years outside of the top flight, in a two club city. Compared to Leeds who just ten years ago were averaging 22k whilst sitting mid table in the championship in a once club city. We’ve averaged over 27k this year whilst having the worst start in championship history. The claim to being the biggest team in Yorkshire isn’t unjustified.

okay tbf you guys gave it loads - got tons of random ass chants too tbf - the audio of the game DID NOT pick you guys up nearly as much as it shouldve though, hence why i could only hear one set of fans, maybe the mic location was fucked idk, but yeah leeds away fans know that we always start slow to give you a fasle sense of security then snatch it all away and like clockwork right as halftime comes your boys got complacent, and leeds got ya. Smart fans dont over do it at 0-0 then get humbled, they ramp it up when their team deserves or needs it to push em on which in the relegation spots you do need tbf. Good game
Poor game at Elland Rd at the start of the season when Leeds were nowhere near what they are now and first half was another poor match. Leeds didn't really have to try too hard as Wednesday's plan seemed to be run to the corners and out of steam. Love Hillsborough. Love winning there.

Fair play, that's a Yorkshire derby. Enjoyed it last night in the top tier. I don't look for any of the Yorkshire fixtures at the start of the season but Wednesday are a team you want to beat just to shut them up - as I'm sure it's the same the other way round. At least we can consider Wednesday as a 'rival' in the Championship over the years. Huddersfield are a weird bunch who like to insert themselves into that but in reality, no Leeds fan gives a fuck about them.

Just a bit of random trivia. The North stand where this was filmed from, is the first cantilever stand in the country. The seats that are covered in the west stand are reserved for all who lost their lives on the 15th April 1989.
