It's nice to see moviemakers these days catering to an older audience because you know...there is life after 40 and we older people have the soul of adventure too.
You are soooo right !! I'm just 25 but I was thinking the other day that main characters are usually under 30 and I don't understand why. Every age is interesting so why movies industry always uses "young" characters, as if life is more interesting when you are 20 or 30 ? I hope movies will highlight people older than 30 y/o. Have a good day 😊🌺
Joseph Emmanuel I didn't mean in that way. I do love the movie Mr Holmes with Ian McKellen , but it kinda has to be a story that is good and interesting. The majority of people don't want to watch a movie full of old people. if its about an ordinary old lady.. It could be rather boring. Since we do consider everything over 40 to old to be able to live and fail and so on, and it becomes depressive. It is just how it is. I bet there are some people who would watch these type of movies. But they are very few. We love youth because it represents, power (mobility), learning, young beauty, exploring.. Ect... It could be achieved with old age as well but doesn't sound very appealing.. It's just how it is..we are also afraid to die..and old age brings you closer to the death I am 25, still young but I don't want to event think about getting older. Not that I don't enjoy getting the knowledge and joy out of life..but it also makes me a little bit scared Perhaps it's a different journey for women than men
I can’t wait for this movie!! Smiling and almost crying! And it’s just a trailer! Wow. When she said ‘I wasted so much time doing nothing’ I just wanted to do something soooo badly!!! So I’m going to South Korea in 2 weeks. Never been out of Europe. But it’s enough wasting time. Right?
Just watched this on Netflix and it’s such a beautiful film. Scenery is stunning. Really liked the 2 main characters. It’s inspires you to get up off your arse, stop making excuses and just go for it. Life’s too short.
Filmed where I live. Always take for granted how lucky I am to be surrounded by beautiful scenery. Been pretty much housebound for 8 years with severe anxiety and arthritis - I'm 41. This clip makes me want to get outside again but I know I won't. Still, I look forward to seeing the movie.
Omg, Scotland, so beautiful.... was my home for over 5 years out of those spent 2 years in the Highlands, the mountain looks like Suilven. I cannot remember how many times i'd passed it on my way. Wish i could see the movie here. Miss you Scotland, every day!!!
Not everything is procrastination. Some (wo)men raised a family, and have had other priorities their entire lives. Their dreams were put on hold. So yes it's never too late to follow them! Looks like a great movie by the way.
Ok, 3 days on and Ive bought and watched dvd starring Paul, Angels Share.... simply wow, while a drama/comedy, from what Ive read in articles its almost a copy of Pauls real life, SO WELL WORTH CATCHING UP on this actor... so hope his career takes him where he dreams of going - he deserves the very best in the future. deffo one to watch.
I will watch this movie, it looks wonderful. Nevertheless as an Austrian with our usual mountains above 2000 metres I lack the necessary deferentialness for British heights. When I stood next to Ben Nevis with its 1.345 metres, I called it a hill.
Just caught this beautiful movie... the Scottish scenes are wonderful, and great acting by the two leads... though was thinking that McLaughlin (Paul), mayb had a little too much 'love' for his best mate... a mate/ a bromance/ or mayb a secret true love... haha. I think the movie ended too quickly, yeah she made the mountain top, but it needed Jonny making good with his family and sis...... now back to the' boy love'.. (time 1:18:40)
my name is Edie and when I saw this I was like whatttt then i did a face swap to me when I'm older and i looked like her so i think that might be me when I'm older lol😂😂😂😂😂😂(⊙o⊙)
