New budget release from Edifier takes on Microlab B77. Microlab is one of the best cheap stereo spekers available and Edifier comes close in sound quality, but IMO B77 is still a bit more nautral sounding, especially in the mid ranges. Despite that, Edifier is a good choice for anyone looking for compact speaker, especially considering that it is stylish, nicely build and equiped in bluetooth conectivity. What do You think? In fact I liked the strong bass sound so I wanted to buy Bose Companion 2 or Edifier R1010BT. But after reading your detailed and rational reviews, I had to change my mind. To be honest, this is the best of all the reviews about Microlab B77 I've found. Now I think that B77 is kind of a alternative studio monitor for lower budget. So I ordered it on eBay and got it last evening. Your review was a "Finishing blow" for my purchase. Thanks a lot!

Had the R1010BT a couple of weeks and returned them in favour for the B77. I'm delighted with the change. B77 sound better in every way.

Thanks for the video. I have been very happy with my Edifier R1010BT's. I had never heard of the Microlab's so I didn't consider them. There only so much that your comparison can achieve considering the media used. There was a difference. The type music you listen to might also make another difference.

B77: decent treble, no mids, 'realistic' bass. R1010BT: decent trble, flat mids, a bit more bass than necessary.

Quando se trata de referência o áudio tem que ser o mais flat possível pra ñ te enganar na hora da sua mix e master,monitores de referência são melhores pra studio

The R1010 shows a real and intense sound of each song, the B77 shows a standard for all songs, remembering that the subject here is monitor to generate sound and not listen to music.

A Edifier é muito boa, mas pelo custo beneficio vale a pena comprar a B77, pois a diferença entre as duas são mínimas.

Já tive as duas , a B77 , ótima de grave mas não tem médios. A Edifier é ótima para quem gosta mais dos médios.

I'm owing the B77's. They're very good for their price but my left speaker is a bit off-balance. May be amp issue.

B77 is a great value for money proposition IMO. I do not know about the reliability though, I do not use them that often to know.

Woah...r1010bt definetly sounds shadowed compared to BB77 . Like its playing behind a curtain or something..Maybe due to clarity of the 77. Wny did I rush to buy the r1010bt...

what i understand listening to this: Edifier R1010BT has better sound stage but bad imagining, separation microlab b77 has bit narrow sound stage, amazing imagining,separation midrange in r1010bt feels alive and its quite sad in b77. tbh other than the midrange gap b77 is winning i think

Edifier has more kind of music. You lll listen many sound. Micro is good high range but sound is flat. However it is depend on your speaker that u listen to compare too.

There's a BT version (B77BT). Does the BT and non BT sound the same?

The B77BTs have more power 64W, while the B77 non BT have only 48W. I currently am on B77 nonBT and I have to say, that after about 100hours of break-in the sound is kind of great for the asked price. B77BT is a little more expensive, but I believe it is worth it. The bluetooth version come with a cable with 4 pins, that drives the tweeter and the woofer separately, so it might sound better than the older version, but the difference will not be that big. If I were to buy one right now, I would definitely go for the bluetooth version, so the B77BT.

Yea, I got the BT version and I'd say it's totally worth whatever extra they ask for it over the non BT. The non BT is blamed for lacking in lows somewhat, but the BT corrects that while keeping the same clarity in the higgs and mids which to my ear at least sounds great.

Not sure why anyone would buy the R1010BT at all when the R1280T is the same price or cheaper. Also, it's really not that stylish at all. I much prefer wooden veneers, so the B77 gets the award from me in the appearance category :)

As far as I understand the current Edifier policy, the R1280t will be replaced by more expensive R1280DB so the spot for R1010BT opens here. R1280t does not have Bluetooth, that is another thing. Regarding the looks, R1010BT is really nice when experienced in real life, I would say it is even with B77 in this department ;) PS. comparison between R1010BT and R1280T will arrvie to this channel soon

Jesus Christ the 1010bt vocals fade all the bass. How edifier let that pass? (I get that it's going for a flat sound but it's too much for my ears). Anyone who has one can confirm that this is the case for all songs?

@@Marconhaa eu acabei comprando o R1580MB e cara, pra escutar rock metal é maravilhoso, o grave é bem baixo, algo bem sombrio, é muito bom eu recomendo muito, pra trap também é muito bom, mas o destaque do meu eu dou pro rock e metal, o som é fantástico, casa MT bem com as caixas de som
