The Edifier Stax S3 headphones have a strong focus on accurate audio quality with excellent dynamics and a rich bass. The Edifier headphones are comfortable because of two different earpad options. The drawbacks are.. 1. no AAC codec or adjustable EQ settings, despite that fact that the classical mode sounds amazing already! 2. The design is average in my opinion, with some plastic-y feeling at times. Last but not least, its just under a steep 400 dollars and for that amount there are many good alternatives too. If you’re not an iPhone user who fancies a planar magnetic headphone, this will give you a great start in the high-end headphones market.
