SOME of we southerners - especially those educated and long-time specialists in Scotland and all things Scottish - are mightily fed-up with you media junkies batting the Scottish wicket ad infinitum. Hypocrisy. Big-time. If you all adore Scotland that much, why the hell do you all make for London at the earliest opportunity? It's basically nostalgia-based. When I asked Billy Connolly if he'd ever move back to Scotland from Windsor, his response was 'Are you fuckin' jokin'?'. That says it all. Please stop it. It's very annoying, not to say, humiliating on your behalf.
