In 1985 the then 3200 seat Edinburgh Playhouse, Scotland, hosted a Royal Gala Variety Performance as a fund-raising event for the 1986 Commonwealth Games.
The Hilsdon organ was tuned overnight before the performance, and is used to accompany Sarah Brightman and Paul Miles-Kingston during their duet of Lloyd Webber's Pie Jesu -1 hr 23 minutes in approx, and again during Hail Caledonia in the Finale
