Edinburgh is my home. The festival is great for the city, no question. But I would really like the council to provide special flashing lights to wear on your head to signal 'I am just going to Tesco for some milk'. A sort of special walking lane so we can get around. (I'll try to get to your October 19th do)
This is a great look at things that will help me so much for when I’m living out there next year! I am excited to be able to experience Fringe. My aunt had her play she performed for it back in 1994. ^.^
I've been watching your videos for quite some time, Tony! I'll be in Edinburgh for a conference in October 😃😃😃. Thanks to you, I'm learning so much to prepare for my (very short 😕) visit! I'm enjoying the home renovation, too🙌
Thanks Tony, August in Edinburgh is definitely on my bucket list. Please do a video about the Speigle tents, I think it is safe to assume that most of your American viewers don't know what they are.
So green and lush in the forested sections. Edinburgh does it right with events like this and the Christmas festival later in the year. It must be wonderful to live year round in such a nice city!
Hi Tony - I believe that Guilded Balloon Teviot (which was wrapped and scaffolded in the video) will be closed for renovation this summer. Guilded Balloon will be presenting at their other venues.
Was in Edinburgh last year a week after the festival. Never seen the City so crowded and Yes.....that was nothing compared to the crowds a few weeks earlier but it was enough that I only went into Old Town twice. The upside was exploring New Town, Stockbridge, Leith more than in the past. So this year I've made plans to come a month later, October. Bought tickets to Scottish Memories Live. The Scottish Memories Series that you produced a couple of years ago are still my favorite Clan Broonford Videos. This is going to be Great!
