Edinburgh: Then vs Now 

Thank you, James, for another jaunt down this particular Memory Lane. I lived in dear Edinburgh, Autumn 1970 until Autumn 1974. I re-visited the city and Waverley Station a few years ago, travelling from Taunton via Waverley Station, in transit to visit my Sons and their Families (one residing in Kinghorn and the other in Bathgate - that other now living in Eskdalemuir). During my waiting time, I spent a while paying my silent respects to the Old Town. Sad to see dear auld reeky in such a state. The historical aspect/fabric of the 'town' is still quite intact. However, the transient inhabitants, students, drop-outs et al. are, to me, superfluous to humanity, mostly being within a congregated malicious, rabid mob. They offer nothing but intimidation and desecration of Dear Auld Edinburgh. In conclusion: Respect and thank you, James. All the best. Rab 🍻 😎 🌠
