I am reading a book called “Into the Groove” by Jonathan Scott about the early days of recording so have been googling, and these wonderful videos now showed up in RU-vid feed. I am amazed by the subtle sound quality of these old cylinders. One can really hear the inflection and timbre and emotions in these songs from so long ago. A reminder that people are people.
