One of my greatest memories of the 90s being a kid going to the skating rink buying a glow stick necklace and winning at the arcade best time ever💕💕💕💕💕
This was a big part of my childhood when I was about 4 years old. If I ever get rich, you're all invited to my skating rink, arcade, and overall 80s get-together. Phones won't be allowed. ;-)
I remember doing the rollathon for diabetes every year in the 80s. The local schools would get the students to raise money and one day 6 public schools would go to the local rink for a roller rink day . As we got older we would cut out to the local arcade down the street. This looks to be the end of the roller rink era
Rob that is so AWESOME ! Wish I had old school footage of my home rink ! You and Dave look exactly the same and I think I noticed Joe on the other old school video when you guys were in NYC
i love this video brings back great memories!!!! i was skating from 1979-1993 and i miss it so much!! can you tell me who this song is by cause it is the jam!!!!!!!!!! thanks
The usa in Wayne willowbrook mall was my home rink. This rink looks so much like it It kinda freaked me out so maney great mems. The problem was the riots there between Paterson and East Orange during the late 80s . Really bad fights like 100 on 100 inside the rink and outside in the parking lot. They started robbing peaple for gold coats skates money. I meen it got really bad twords the end. A Paterson kid killed a Montclaire kid with a golf club at the old white castle that was on rt.23 in Ceader grove next to famouse reys pizza. That pretty much sealed the deal. It closed about a year later when Michelle Eagone got destroyed on the train tracks drunk by a train in front of USA next to RT.23 that did it. Wayne Township made them close it down. I was heart broken.
Man I have a craving for a licorice rope, chipped ice Coke and a hot dog from the rotisserie managed by a brace-faced teen lets go with the name of Jacob
