Beach vacations are always great to recharge ourselves. Poor Marion! Food poisoning is absolutely the worse. I have I had that twice in my life. Sipping on Gatorade helps to recover from the dehydration . I so enjoyed this vlog. Glad you are home safe . Gods plans are a wonder aren’t they?

Hiya Arika & family. Yes indeed it's crazy beautiful there. I seen Madisyn liked that ginormous plant with spikes. It's called a Century plant. Their life cycle is 10 to 30 years. They love heat. Watching the sunset was lovely. I'd wanna take a nap on that sand. I know you guys had a blasty blast.

We love Edisto Beach! We used to rent the round house next door every year until my dad passed…haven’t gone back as a family since. Fun times!! We live just over an hour from there so sometimes my husband and I will take a day trip occasionally. Thanks for sharing!

We went to Edisto every year for our summer family vacation! It’s the best place do nothing 😄 I’m so glad you guys enjoyed it and hope Marion is feeling better!

And to share what it looks like there. It’s beautiful! 🌸There were some beautiful seashells on Botony Bay. So sad you couldn’t take any of them. 😢🌸 I love collecting seashells wherever I go and putting them in different kinds of vases and displaying them. 🙂🌸 I have full sympathy for what Marion went through with food poisoning. It is not fun for sure! Hope he is feeling as the days went on. 🌸 what a crazy storm you had to drive through and the fallen tree! 😳⛈
WOW!!! So pretty!! We always try to find different things to do when we go to Myrtle. We lol never cook when there. Just being hubby and I most of the time we eat out. We do have lunch in the room or pack it to take down to the beach. Which one of my favorites peanut butter and banana on the side. Which is what I had while watching this. So sorry Marion got sick. Hope he’s feeling better! And hope Jaxon has a great last few weeks of school!! We have 116 days till MB. Not rushing. Lots of summer projects to do!!! Glad you all made it home safe!!! The drive home always seems longer than going!!

What a nice vacation in South Carolina! I loved Beach for years. We went in myrtle beach SC for few times. No shells there 🙄 I am glad you all had a great time! I bet you are so happy to be home and see your fur babies! Have a blessing weekend!
I'm 48 yrs old, I've never ever been on any type of vacation, including a no honeymoon when I got married. Watching this brought out so many emotions I cried the whole way thru it. But I figure at least I get to see these beautiful things thru your video. Thank you.
Oh wow, I sure hope you can take a nice vacation some time. We had never seen the ocean until our wedding day! Now we go as often as we can. We camp a lot of the time. It is very affordable that way!

What a beautiful vacation spot! I love the beach. Not having to be anywhere or do anything has to be the best feeling! I know you don’t like seafood Arika, but the shrimp looked SO delicious! Crazy to come across this video. I actually clean vacation rentals on edisto beach. I don't clean that particular house but I clean a home a few houses down from the one y'all stayed in. It's a beautiful and very family friendly environment on Edisto. Glad y'all had a good time

Food Poisoning is rough, but (the silver lining) at least it didn't happen at the "beginning" of the vacation, that would have been much worse for him.

So glad you made it home safely! What a fun trip! (aside from the food poisoning!) we go to Savannah/Tybee Island area most years for vacation. About six years ago we had stopped at a Mexican restaurant the night before we left for home, and I was the only one who had chicken...The next morning as we were headed out, I started to feel bad. Ughh... we like to take the highways instead of the interstate, if time allows, so we can see all of the little towns along the way. Well it was a struggle to find places to stop every 20 minutes or so since we weren't on the interstate. I'm sure all the people in those small towns never saw a lady run to the the restroom so fast! We laugh about it now, but it wasn't so fun at the time! HaHa

Awe Arika this looked wonderful!! So sorry Marion got food poisoning, I’ve had it and it’s horrendous! The beach was beautiful, but you know me I’m so terrified of the ocean, and that landscape around there really looked like the beach in the original Jaws! It was filmed at Martha’s Vineyard and there was lots of the little wood fences and tall grass! That’s all I was thinking about watching , I’m so crazy! Anyhow I’m so glad y’all made it home safely through them crazy storms! You look so relaxed! Please tell Marion I hope he feels better! And I know them fur babies are so happy you guys are back!
