We had looked at so many Cricut RU-vid videos to try and find information on how to erase other than the slice application. Thank you for posting this tip...IT IS A BIG HELP!
I just recently (like Mother’s Day of this year, so 2-3 weeks ago) got a Cricut. This SAAAVED me SO much!!! There’s an image that’s all connected but different colors & it’s a simple image, just a couple sharp details. Before I would have to use the square & circle to break the shape up so I could get it the 4 different colors. This way is going to be so much more clean! THANK YOU!!!!
Jessica Marsh .....when you upload the image, choose the bottom selection, something like detailed, I can’t remember right now. Then using the magic wand get rid of all the colors you don’t want. Do one color at a time and save each time as a cut image. Go back and do it again for each color. I hope this helps.
I can't get the app to open the image into that first part where you can select complex. It just puts it on the canvas. I can't find any solution to this. Does anyone know how to get it to open that first part instead of just putting it on the canvas? I'm unable to take out any lines
I'm new to the Cricut family and I noticed that "select image type does not come up. Could i be doing something wrong. Can you give me any pointers. Thanks
I am not sure what box you want to unlock, but you can unlock the size by clicking on the lock above the size in the tool bar on the top. Well top for me. I am on a pc. Does that help?
Kaitlyn Kagin .....erase isn’t a feature available. I use the Slice feature to slice out what I want to erase. But remember, you can only slice 2 objects. So either separate objects or text away from what you are slicing or weld your image all together and the slice out what you want to erase. Think it through before you start and don’t be afraid to use the back button. It helps got back a step for my opps moments.
Cricut is by far the worst editing program ever made. I used many programs in the 90's, as a vinyl artist for a sign company, and theybwere more user friendly waaaaay back when.
