I'll tell you why this happened -- she protested in Delhi against the sexual harassment scandal, correct? This is the way the entire political and sports machinery of India got back at her! This sort of back-stabbing is a trademark of Indian life at every level. And you are right about P T Usha. Her heydays were during the rule of Rajiv Gandhi when she was a young, fiery athlete. Now, she is a 'dinosaur' who needs to be cycled out of the system.
P.T. Usha was a person who was not favouring the Wrestler’s rightful agitation….I think she is not a qualified person to be in this Pannel…, I am remembering the Movie “Dhangal”. Sujith Sir….. it’s our Country’s fate for having such Govt…. India is with Vinesh Bhogat….Congratulations….dont eorry…. We appreciate your sincere efforts 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
We need to appreciate PT Usha 1st.. she actually deserves another gold medal for keeping silent. What not we are getting to see and experience since 2014.
Really sad. Nobody understand the effort and pain a sports person go through to reach such a level. Very sad to hear the news of disqualification. Sir, you strike the right point🙏
@@truthmaker700 what is the role of BJP in this matter. She herself tried to manipulate things by shifting from 53 kg to 50 kg category, suffered embarssment. Even her uncle her remarked this thing. Coaches choose by her, supporting staff chooses by her.
@@narasimhamvakkalanka Why ru so lazy that you cannot watch just 20 minutes above video by concentrating properly? Need to stop being lazy and find out real truth and actions of cunning BJP that how cunning BJP especially under uneducated but cunning Modi manipulates situations. She always competes in over 50 kgs category in the past because that is her natural weight. But BJP forced wrestling association to put another wrestler in over 50 kgs category so that she is forced to be in under 50 kgs category because India is limited by the number of players that we can enter in each category. No wonder you have no idea about cunningness of BJP and Modi. They took revenge on her because she protested against Brij Bhushan who sexually harassed more than 20 young girl wrestlers. Got it now?
'Ashamed ' is the better word. Even when the same girl was out at Jantar Mantar protesting, this same PT Usha, did nothing, nor did she go to support her fight. How can one expect this sort of a player take up for the wrestler.? That's why I say 'ashamed' is the better word.
Pt Usha could never win a medal in Olympics, even in Asian games she came second to Lydia de vega of the Philippines, and she is crowned as a golden girl by the media and connected persons.
@@friendlyatheist9589 Making her compete in a weight category that was not natural for her body was a form of abuse. It is done to increase the chance of winning a medal, but it is very risky and this risk has played out in Vinesh's case. It's natural for body weight to fluctuate daily, and in her case, her weight was already being maintained at an abnormally low level. Remember as an elite athlete , she already has a high muscle ratio and a low fat ratio. They pushed these ratios beyond limits. I believe they even used methods such as drawing blood to get her weight down. Basically the Indian sports administration put this athlete through hell to win a medal. And we all know how many people come to bask in the reflected glory of our athletes, some even insinuating that they played a role in the athletes' success. If this is not abuse, I don't know what is. We are not alone... Athletes are abused this way around the world. I wish international sports bodies would do more to stop this.
This is the only sensible discourse on this topic. As a recreational athlete, I agree with you that the real issue is her participation in a category that was not natural for her body.
@@samueljoseph2821I might agree, but what about all the politicians who are/were part of BCCI and even headed it (like Pawar)? BCCI is a private body.
Sujit, I agree and like they you questioned, it was spot on. Exactly what was the support staff doing? Were the just tourist? Sad for what has happened. This is our India. 😢
I went to sleep last night with hope and prayers for Vinesh to win! Even though some evil forces have disqualified her, she remains to be a hero in our hearts. India is proud of you Vinesh. God bless you ❤️
@vinnyhyd “I went to sleep [...] God bless you ❤️” ====================== So, now you have 1st hand experience that prayers do NOT provide any tangible help.
@@ex.hindu.now.atheist it very well proved that prayers have opened windows for her to re appeal. Prayers enabled her to stay strong against all evil forces as and prayers enabled us as a nation to stay proud on her achievements.
Its absolutely shocking that the nutrionist was not present with the team. Moreover, it is unfathomable that the day she played 3 matches - her weight increased !
When she is a sure medal winner, any sensible team takes utmost care so the athlete will meet all the norms and win. In this case something is fishy. Ultimately she is not the loser, loser is the country
Protests: Vinesh Phogat was a key figure in protests against former BJP MP Brijbhushan Singh, who faced multiple allegations of sexual harassment from women wrestlers. Yes you are absolutely right there Thank you. Everyone says the same thing. Yes rules do apply, but in a case like this a meagre 100grams excess they should have told her to try to reduce these 100 grams in an hour or two and check the weight again for approval for the bout , if , no then disqualify her or them
Several substances can contribute to water retention in the body. Here are some common ones: 1. Sodium (Salt): Consuming high amounts of sodium can lead to water retention, as the body holds onto water to dilute the salt. 2. Sugar: High sugar intake can cause inflammation, leading to water retention. 3. Caffeine: Although caffeine is a diuretic, excessive consumption can lead to dehydration, causing the body to retain water. 4. Alcohol: Alcohol can cause dehydration, leading to water retention. 5. Minerals: - Sodium (as mentioned earlier) - Potassium: While essential, excessive potassium can lead to water retention. - Calcium: High intake can cause water retention in some individuals. 6. Foods: - Processed foods (high in salt and sugar) - Dairy products (especially for those with lactose intolerance) - Gluten (for those with gluten intolerance or sensitivity) 7. Hormonal changes: Fluctuations in hormones like estrogen and progesterone can lead to water retention. 8. Medications: - Steroids - Blood pressure medications - Hormone replacement therapy 9. Other substances: - MSG (monosodium glutamate) - Artificial sweeteners like aspartame and sucralose Remember, individual responses may vary, and it's essential to maintain a balanced diet and consult a healthcare professional if you experience persistent water retention. So its easy to give her a bit extra salt and get her trapped
@rajendran30 “She has more enemies in India. Don't look for one in Amreeka.” ==================== Yes. In all likelihood, the chief of those enemies is a certain self-proclaimed 56-inch chester.
Heartbreaking. It was smooth till it reached finals and suddenly? Needs to be investigated. Absolutely agree with the editorial. She deserves the best and it will come her way. Wishing her strength.
Our hearts go out for Vinesh Phogat. She is a true champion surmounting all the obstacles. Surely, she has been let down by the support staff. She remains a world champion in our hearts and minds. We are with her.
Anyone with a little sense what has happened. The officials are all Brij Bhushans coterie. What happened on a single day. She was correct weight yesterday. If there was problem with weight why didn’t she compete in 53 kg division.
They purposefully gave the 53 kg slot to another girl who lost in the first round itself. They literally forced her to lose weight and compete in the 50 kg category.
@@jaiboyjacob3647 Here's the thing, let's be objective for a second here. Vinesh had more chances of winning gold at 50kg. She had a bigger frame for that class. She (and her team) made the mistake of missing out a little bit on water cut. This is a standard protocol that many athletes use (ex-UFC). A natural 55kg girl with water cut can make it to 50kg class and upon refeed can gain an edge over her competitors. I'm sure a lot of Olympic wrestlers do this. It is unfortunate she missed out by hair of a margin but it is what it is. Nobody else is at blame.
@@jaiboyjacob3647 do you know how the athletes go to the Olympics? They go into trial first within the country in their weight category, Vinesh fought in both 53kg and 50 Kg while being 52kg and she lost 53 kg bout from the Indian wrestler Antim Panghal in trials which is why she opted for 50 Kg. She had her own people in her team, it was her who selected people of her choice, no one was able to speak a word because of her political influence when she was 52 kg and wrestled in 50kg category. You have nothing to do with wrestling or Indian athlete winning medals but you are here ranting just because you hate modi and BJP, she is the one who is open against one of the ex BJP leader. That's it. Stop cooking stories out of no where

Probably is she is 53 category, she would have brought a medal to Indian tally..one can see dirty politics.. because she raised her voice against ruliers
Support staff are there in place, of a poor family making ends meet somewhere in India. In the first place, it is cheating to push a 53 kg athlete into the 50kg category. A few years back, almost the whole Indian team was found to be over age to participate in some age games in Central Asia.
In India today glimpse of the debate show there is a statement that she is made to compete in the 50 kg category instead of her comfortable 53 kg likewise something.
How did Vinesh’s weight increase to 2.7kg??? It’s a foul play ….. the Dr. and that Usha is just taking us round the bush….. I guess this was done on purpose to satisfy someone’s EGO…..
Sujit ji..now that the dust has been settled a bit around Vinesh's case, there are new information cane out.. 1. Antim pangal was sent for 53 kg category cz she won bronze in World wrestling championship in 2023 in which Vinesh couldn't participate due to her knee surgery..so i guess it was fair to send her as she had also proved herself...now she is just 19 years old..it was her first Olympic so her not winning shouldn't be that an issue...many experienced players haven't won even multiple Olympics .. 2. Yes there were politics about not sending her to 53 kg ..they were about to keep trials to decide who will go that category bit since there were problems in the administration level she was unsure whether they will conduct trials..so she went for 50 kg 3. Yes..thee weight increases to 2-3 kgs if u are competing in below normal weight category..even Qman Sehrawat who won bronze had to cut of excess 4 and a half kg to complete in his final match next day..but yes in Vinesh case she started cutting only couple of months back so that stubborn weight couldn't be reduced.. weight management requres long discipline.. Overall its unfortunate that our champion had to bid farewell to wrestling..but Vinesh will always be our inspiration and true champion .😊...she won the hearts of people..she had won gold in true sense:)
Starting statement of Dr. Pardiwala is v annoying, he suggested that wrestler intentionally compete in lower weight category than their normal weight to gain benefit..accusing as if Vinesh willfully want to take that advantage but failed..my question is if its true, it is true for all wrestlers all over the world, every country knows that trick, its v unfortunate that pardiwala's statement instead of defending/comforting Vinesh actually accusing her..not even the helping staff! It is only showing their attitude and conspiracy..among so many 'coincidental' statement of other people
This is what happens in India all the time. All responsible posts are politically appointed. Most support staff are just there for salary and enjoyment. Imagine if we took a scientific approach to all this issues. Instead the government is always giving importance and even employing Ayurveda practioners as government servants. Baba Ramdev should be appointed as head of medicine instead of those science backed employees 😅😅😅 If Ayurveda worked, all advanced countries would have cashed on it even before India could wake up.
A fine analysis Mr Nair ji yet again. Relevant questions raised and can be only by a bold person like u. Seems to be a professional mismanagement by the support system..😢 😢😢
The statement given by Dr. Pardiwala is just not acceptable. It is just a sham. Dr Pardiwala's explanation raises more questions than providing answers. This whole episode raises two questions - (1) either there could be an unimaginable conspiracy behind this fiasco or (2) total lack of professionalism on the part of support staff. They should be held accountable for this.
Sir! If we talk about competence, let's start with the Sports Minister 😂😂😂. Tell me one ministry that's competent. 😊 Another achievement ₹67 cr for Haryana, ₹500 cr for Gujarat. That should explain the commitment to medals. 😂😂😂
Excellent editorial and those in power and those who take decisions which matter in the interest of the country as they say should ask themselves why did they do this ...that poor girl fought so many battles within the wrestling court and outside and still she gave her all so that our country gets a medal ...she didn't deserve this but for me she is a winner
For those who blame conspiracy theories.. as per rules the committee checks the weight on first day and second day before the match . It is the nutritionist and coach responsibility to check her weight regularly. It is sad day but this is clear case of lack of responsibility and to some extent even to Vinesh she should not have trusted her staff (personal staff) blindly .
@@eb-ku3ot If know the complete story Antim got qualified for 53kg category so they asked her to compete in 50kg . It make sense since we will have more chance to win medals. It is up to us to add politics to it .
See first of all with 150 crore population india severely struggle to get medals in olympics. And also in 150 crore population country with extreme economic distress, spending in olympics, world cup etc are waste of money...no need if olympics or world cup...
I had tears in my eyes yesterday n even now, for this mighty daughter. Instantly my mind tells me this this is the outcome of a conspiracy designed by the most powerful against her to make her be shattered. Shame, our country lost its pride to satisfy the devils ego. Pls go by the list of people who stood by her after this incident, you'll find the devil missing😢😢😢
My point is that when medics staff know before the weight test that she cannot pass because of higher weight and might get disqualified. Why they did not choose to give a walkover to her opponent and atleast secure a silver .
Don't we have a nutritionist in India? How did "Dinshaw Pardiwala is Head - Centre for Sports Medicine, & Director - Arthroscopy & Shoulder Service at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hosptal, Mumbai, India get appointed as nutritionist? Nita Ambani is a member of Olympics team...
Rightly pointed out. Eg; what achievements Nita Ambani has to be a part of sports 😮. Rich doesn't mean she has the right to be everywhere 😮. In our country people will never stop playing dirty politics. I'm giving a guarantee, those people will come back home with very good blame games like the BJP spokesperson always does.
Mr. Sujit Nair played a very emotional video on Vinesh 's disqualification but in sports, temperament is much higher than your emotional outburst. In your world, punctuality means,' reaching in time ', in sports it means reaching before time. Bear it with us and please don't add salt to injury. 🙏
