EDM - How to EQ the delay feedback and a trick to give life to your sound instantly

theres a much easier way! just put those delay and reverb plugins to your sends all the way to the right of your mixer (4 sends that are seperated but always viewable when your scrolling through your mixer). at the bottom of every mixer, theres a little green routing line that shows what its connected to. if you right click the ones under your sends, it gives you the option of your selected mixer to route to it. make sure your send plugins are 100% wet and 0% dry. so anything routed to them can share the same reverb and delay. since your effect plugins have their own mixer, you can eq and compress them (or whatever your heart desires, really) aka returns. sends are an outdated term these days. it makes it so much easier to basically have a global mixer that shares the same reverb bc it gives the mix a sort of glue for sounds since it sounds like theyd be all in one reverb space, if that makes sense. hopefully i even made sense with this. lolol. if anyone has questions id be glad to answer them.

The last 4 channels in your FL mixer are called Return Channels, you sidechain the channel you want the reverb or delay on and put said delay on full wet mode. you will get the same results and can insert other effects that only affect the return bus exactly the same as in the video but without the hassle.

FL Studio is such a mixing nightmare for the casual user. You cant just do something and come back to it a few days later and remember the complex layout...I own it through lifetime updates and love the pattern mode step sequencer but havent used FL in years

Seems a lot of hassel with that way of routing, i would just route it to a send with the delay plugin and roll off the low frequencies that way.

Or you can use a return like every other sane person.
