I do it for the joy of art, I suppose. Having worked with wooden tools by trade, I'm in hopes that the 'spirit' of my tools & jigs transfers to the worker...... and on to the job. Thanks.

I handhewned a log cabin and lived in it for decades. I tried to do dovetail by freehand but ended up with saddle notches.

There was a time I'd travel to job-sites or log manufacturers and notch a house a day.........; we could have done yours! In what state did you build?
