In these series of videos I'm making an Epic EDM loop. In this first part we are making the chords and the arp. Epic music usually is a not too happy, massive, uplifting sound. Never forget that if your melody is not great then the result can't be Epic.
Epic music = Epic melody.

This was a realy cool tutorial, But i would recommend on those "human" parts of the piano track, to change the velocity of the accent notes so its not just pounding the keys.

i don't use this DAW, but thanks for showing us on the EQ-ing part. Will definitely take closer attention to EQ to 'separate' each sound so it sounds better and not muffled.

+TiKo try a piano/keyboard. Or record yourself humming your tune, then load it into FL and try and find the notes!

+TiKo first get the main melody, the top notes, they are like half of the job, and when you get it, experiment with adding different bass and middle notes to it

+TiKo a great idea to help you with this is to train your ear using www.musictheory.net/exercises/ear-interval If you can figure out the intervals from a root note to any other note in a key you can throw down thoughts in your head effortlessly

In your 4,3 method video you say ALT+V is the hotkey to turn on ghosting. That was in FL11 and it didn't seem to work for me in FL12. Has it changed? Or am I doing something wrong?
