Edmond Dantes in Melty Blood makes sense! 

I don't think Gigguk's video is bad, but he definitely exaggerates over the false statement that getting into Fate is a complete mess. It's actually pretty easy

I didn’t know that there was a lore connection between Roa and Dantes. It makes sense as his story mode hints at the two of them having some sort of history. Before watching this video I initially thought Dantes was added based on popularity and his ability to travel between singularities.

Ushi was apparently put in via a popularity poll in Japan. Number one requested character was Necoarc and number two was Ushiwakamaru. But what's interesting is it wasn't a Melty character that ranked high. The people that are review bombing the game are silly though. French Bread likely can't add more legacy characters because Nasu is likely rewriting them to fit in with Tsukihime remake, but that doesn't mean those characters won't come. Both Nanaya and Len have been teased through boss rush. The actual game lore for why those characters are in is basically Necoarc wants to take over the Melty Blood universe and summoned Mash which lets her summon other servants via Mash's shield. She wants to take out Shiki and co to gain the title of protagonist. Edmond Dantes, however, is actually there to help Mash get back to Chaldea. At the end of the boss rush, it's revealed that Necoarc is under Len's orders.

Even if there was a poll, I’m surprised, especially when there are other servants that where more likely to win like Okita, Emiya, Nobunaga, Scathach, Nero or even Morgan.

Ditto here, Saber is pretty much the poster girl of Fate series as a whole and Mash is the face of FGO so it's expected, Dantes also make sense because lore with Roa. But Ushi is kinda pushing it, they're trying but I think it's a stretch and kinda weak reason to connect her to MB. I don't dislike her, just feels like it doesn't fully make sense like the other 3.

When it comes to guest characters, it doesn't matter if they fit in or not or if it makes sense for them to be there. That's why they are called "Guest Characters"

I mean the answer about them being added is pretty simple: Ushiwaka has an important roll on Babylonia Anime and Dantes has the most highlighted cameo from the Solomon Movie (ignoring the main singularity servants)

Yeah they should make a fighting game for fgo already. Now that the plot is almost ending

Otaku Daikun has a good lore video about Edmond, Gigguk was a bad choice.

I just want Gilgamesh and Heracles in a fighting game. Maybe one day?

tbh, they should really make a FGO beat em up game

Either the poll was heavily restricted to a specific group of people/country or the character selections were restricted cause as KitaSean said there's no way Ushi beats certain other servants in popularity like Jeanne D'Arc Alter, Nero, Shirou Archer and Gilgamesh. + The way Ushi was implemented in the story is just plain awful imo, NecoArc just summons her and that's it, it's the same as Mash but at least Mash is number 1 girl of FGO.

Why is he so mad about ushi being in the game🗿 She's really popular so it makes sense she won the poll.

I kinda hope we get a costume in fgo for ushi based on her melty blood outfit
