Glad you made it safe and sound. I sincerely hope Trillium gives you a deep discount! We drove from South Florida to Western Washington in a 30 foot RV. It was actually an awesome trip!
welcome to alberta . hope all is well and the movers get going soon . when every thing gets settled let me know . maybe I will have to make a road trip to Edmonton . thanks for the videos
Just watching this gave me anxiety. The thought of leaving home and off to a strange place far away is kinda intimidating and scary to me, but at the same time pretty cool.
The Alberta/Sask Border in lloyd there, there was 4 giant red poles running North/South. That's a meridian marker. You are now west of the 3rd Meridian!
I used to do the west coast with my uncle, the Allied driver. We would take turns and do BC in just under 3 days straight. I also used to drive to Halifax from my place in 18hrs straight my boy! As far as mover is concerned, I bet there's nothing wrong with truck. They just didn't have enough loads scheduled to send truck out and depending when they would unload your stuff would depend on when they actually loaded it onto truck.
Looked like a fun drive, crazy how the time difference works on each side of the border between, Alberta and Saskatchewan. What did Shelly mean by, 306 and 780?? So now that you're there how are Scrappy JJ and Cash doing?? Suggestion, don't let the cat out for a few months let them get used to the area first, I've heard of cats wanted to make there way home if you know what I mean.
marcelstjean forgot to ask, was is difficult to find hotels that would accept two cats and a dog considering most nowadays are owned by Middle Easterns
Wouldn't take more than 10 bucks from each of your subs to get you a nice scrapping truck....I'll start by donating 20 bucks....Come on people, dig deep !
well am sure happy you guys made it safe and sound sure sucks to wait that long for your stuff to come in so you go back get blue next simmer what about your 3 wheeler and the o ferd
Do they have decent trail systems in Edmonton? My wife and I went through a similar experience when bought our house we were sleeping on a blow up mattress for 5 days I almost went crazy no tv nothing it definitely makes you appreciate the simple pleasures in life haha
damn i shouldve met you last time i was in suds a month or so ago, at least that was only 3 hrs from where i live in timmins, if i ever go to edmonton ill definitely have to look you up.. fuck man... oh well rock on man, love the vids
Hey Now Marcel How do you handle your cat's Litter box etc when on the road My cat doesn't mind the car but I don't want to risk him getting nervous and running off,.. thanks RB
Driving through Canada is sooo boring, especially the mid-west where everything is FLAT! It's awesome driving through the mountains once you get through to Alberta. I much prefer driving SOUTH because you get to drive through lots of different environments that are much different than Canada. I wish you guys luck on your new place, scrappers in the area best be scared!
Wow that is a long haul, are scrap prices much different at the new place vs Sudbury? Here they fucking suck, .04 cents a pound, getting back to where they used to be.
Wow that was crazy, I know I don't view youtube often but Ontario to Edmonton like that. I would really like real info if jobs are really that good out there being someone from Ontario that just moved there. please share your views So I look forward to future video's:)
marcelstjean yep. He's just down The road from me I got a trailer there still but I'm living just down the road from Canadian tire gotta sell that trailer
i would deduct the cost of the stuff you have to buy from the cost of the move if it were me. or like you said tell them well now that your done and i have all my shit i'll pay you in 7-10 days maybe. you won't have to worry too much about painting any more , most of that came from cigarette smoke and yall don't smoke any more. Holy frigg that highway in sascachewan looks like Oklahoma here in the states when they get snow no one out there knows how to drive either. Oh so you're on MY TIME NOW :o) And Shelly was Right after you made it past manitoba you were past Kansas so she was right lol Glad yall made it safe.
Marcel, I am glad you made it there okay but let me go on record as saying, I don't like the move, I realize you have to support each other in a marriage and I hope your wife loves her new job but as a person that loves JoMo island and the romps, it will take some getting used to in Edmonton. Just so we are all at ease, where is the Honda and when can we be assured that it is coming with you and when can we see it fired up again? - -- - - -- - Jim
Whats the speed limit on the open road in Canada? Out here in New Zealand its 50kph around built up areas and 100kph on the open road. You'll have to go to the thrift shop or walmart to buy some good used undies. the ones you've got aren't going to last a week. Not even if you turn them inside out. LOL. The money always goes to a good cause at the thrift shops. 7 days !@#$%^&*( Are they pushing the truck there? or probably a team of sled dogs).
Marcel, there is no PayPal button. At least, there is no working link to it. I like to donate a little cash for a scrap truck. Can you make your PayPal work, please? Greetings from the canary Islands.
