I wish journalists could do investigative journalism. Go to the streets and speak with the people. This way, the truth will be revealed. Not bringing people to the studio to spew lies. Monday Okpebholo is a good person, no doubt, but his level of competence is not at par with that of Asue Ighodalo. The candidates of the three main political parties are good, but when put on a scale, Asue Ighodalo stands tallest. Monday Okpebholo will be swallowed and pocketed by the political hyenas in Edo state, who are largely massed up in the APC. Edo state will be set back several years if the state, by any means, goes to the APC.

I'm against the lack of accountability for security votes. Security votes are a manifest problem of the structural deficiency in our system. No governor ,not even Alex Otti, is exempt from this structural defect in our constitutional arrangement. So, our legislators should fix this loophole in our system. Which state in Nigeria is not battling insecurity in Nigeria despite the billions allocated as security votes to their respective states? Tell me, "Mr. Classic thinker." Some issues are structural, and until they are dealt with as such, nothing is going to improve. Edo state is relatively peaceful compared to most other states, which is due to the state government investment in state security. So, what exactly are you talking about?

APC in Edo state has become a laughing stock. We Edo people cannot afford to have these unrepentant APC politicians come close to the corridors of power in Edo state.
