We absolutely wouldn't be in the position we are without him, I think we'd quite possibly have 5 or 7 points less, he's been sensational, especially given the drop off we had in the sort of Villa/City/Zenit period.

Well they eventually didn't give it to hm😂. He had three trophies in one year and they said Dona's Euro outweighs all. Champion's league, Club world cup and Afcon. What's their excuse? Skin color probably. Crazy rii. Instead of admitting, they designed another trophy for him. That's enough insult to ruin someone's career. When you know you deserve something and didn't get it eventually. Some people just tend to back down especially when it looks like they gave their all but it wasn't well rewarded.

I'm a Liverpool fan and even I think it is absolute joke Mendy who is currently the best keeper in the world, is not on the Ballon Dor top 30 players shortlist. It just proves the award has a nasty bias where players of a certain backgrounds get ignored.

Mark this comment, screenshot and save, if you don't believe it: 10 years from now, Mendy is going to be remembered as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, just like Buffon. If Chelsea can hold on to just this player for the next 10 years (and Tuchel somehow), Chelsea will remain a fortress and win a lot of cups.

JUST AWESOME. Never before have I ever enjoyed watching the highlights of any goalkeeper as I have with Édouard Mendy. When I used to play, I always, as I'm sure with most, preferred to be up the other end, but Édouard really does make the art of goalkeeping look not only easy, but also a lot of fun. Best goalkeeper in the world right now in my opinion. Show me another keeper that performs better.

Well, EA sports elevated Halaands stat to an astronomical level after 1 season but cannot give Mendy an overall rating of at least 87 when it is obvious he is better than Alisson and Ederson yet they are rated higher. Seriously, I really cannot understand who comes up with the rating. This is why I quite playing video games.
