Best VH-10 tutorial I ever saw! Also the eDrumIn and software are very good. What I like is the unprecedented level there is on visual information; you can really see what you are doing. Can’t recommend this enough!
Agreed. I have the device and it's quite the miracle box. The fact that Rob created everything by himself is just mind blowing. I wish his company all the success!
I'm getting this problem of hi hat artifacts and I'm simply trying to draw in CC4 curves. I'm not an e-drummer. But I do want to be able to draw in CC4 and not have SD3 product weird artifacts taht are unusable for anything but annoying animals with sensitive hearing. Is there a solution?
Hello thank you for this in depth video I have been using your midi expression pedal unit on my keyboard and guitar VSTs for a long time fantastic I was wondering if your drum box will work on the new range of digital Roland VH 14 Hats which seem like the next generation hat pedals And my other question is being in the UK I now see there is a very high shipping cost due to Covid this has really added a lot of cost for us and I was wondering how long this will be in place many thanks at first to be honest I was not convinced your products were as good as the leading brands being your a small company but having purchased your red four way midi box I have been pleasantly delighted looking forward to future Audiofront innovations
I'm glad you're getting good use out of your MIDI Expression. The eDRUMin 10 will support the VH-14 via the USB host port, but I suspect Roland has limited its functionality in that sort of setup, but I don't have any first hand experience with it. I honestly have no idea when the shipping situation to UK will change.
Hi everyone! Tell me! I recently purchased a Roland TD-17 KVX, and I can't install third-party custom sounds for Hi-Hat into the TD-17 module. The sounds are loaded well, but it is impossible to install them so that the Hi-Hat sounds correctly, with the right sound in each extraction phase! For the rest of the instruments: Snare, Kick, Toms, Cymbals, everything loads and sounds, but for Hi-Hat it does not work! With all types of strikes on VH-10 (Bow shot (Head-side), Edge shot (Rim-side), Open, Closed), one custom sound sounds, the one that you set first to any phase of sound extraction from Hi-Hat (Bow shot (Head-side), Edge shot (Rim-side), Open, Closed). That is, if you set the sound for the Edge shot mode, then it also sounds on other Hi-Hat sound extraction modes. Custom sounds are all in the desired format (.wav) at 44.1 kHz/16 bits. Is it possible in principle to install custom sounds for Hi-Hat in the Roland TD-17 module or not?
Thanks for the video. Do you know if it would work well to use an edrumin sending midi to an alesis strike? I'm very happy with the strike except for hi hat triggering, would this be the fix I'm looking for?
Is this applicable on the hi-hat on the alesis strike pro se kit? I am really disappointed in that module and the way it talks to superior drummer so I am desperate to find something to save my investment. (Selling the module and buying this edrumin10)
Thanks for the great video and device! I have a VH11 and I do everything exactly as in the video, BUT the sound of an open hat in the "closed" position and vice versa .. What could be the problem?
@@crazybeatsband2831 There's a setting in Additive Drums to invert the hihat pedal. Can't remember what it's called but you'll see it next to the MIDI settings for the hihat.
@@progression_decibel Unfortunately, one of the parts I need has been out of stock for 3 months. I won't have it until the end of May and then it'll be another month after. So I'll probably have some by July.
