What a dream! The tools, materials, paints are so much better than 50 years ago when I was a keen modeller as a teenager. This is modelling on the next planet!
Also vastly more expensive! Was it half a crown for an Airfix 1/72 scale model in mid 1960s? I couldn't afford more than a minimal set of paints but, by the time I stopped around 1969, I had made and painted a few that I was very proud of. All shot down from hanging from bedroom ceiling in a pillow fight a few years later! A friend of the German side of our family flew these, Heinz Knoke. He survived the war because he was blown up in a transport lorry so he couldn't fly anymore. By the end, almost none of the original German pilots were left alive. My uncle flew for the RAF. He started age 16 as a mechanic in 1939 and trained to fly when he turned 18 but came top of his class so they kept him on as an instructor - that was another way to survive!
Too bad you wrecked a good video with that bloody awful music. Instant turn off for me. More explanation and less noise would have been so much better.
