I’ve looked at this site before and was hoping to get a bit more info from your video. It would be great if you’d give some very specific examples of how you use these materials. How do you use the lesson plans? How do you get them to your kids on Outschool? Would love some more detailed info since I’ve already scrolled through the site in my own. Thanks!

Hi Shelley! Thanks for your comment! I would be happy to make another video about how I use education.com. In the meantime, I’ll let you know that I don’t send the parents anything unless it is specifically requested. Each student has their own login and they can access the entire site too. So if mom or dad wants to print something off after class, they can. Obviously they can ask me more information about how to do it if necessary. But primarily for our 30 minute classes, I share my screen with the student. They can usually write on the screen, however others cannot. There are games to play, and they will just indicate to me their selection and I click it. Sometimes I write numbers on the squares so they can tell me their choice if they can’t write/find then drawing tool. There are digital exercises, which are usually multiple choice, so those are fun to use with older students. You can also create assignments for them after class. So if you want them to review a story that you read, or play the game again that you introduced in class, you can assign that game within their profile and they can play that on their own after class. I find the workbooks really awesome when we’re working on parts of speech or a progressive topic like fractions for instance. It just makes it easy to keep track of the content that you have taught. Thanks for the inspiration for another video! I have now have two in the works, after almost a month without a video uploaded! Thanks for watching!
