The only reason Bradley didn’t turn Ed into Full-metal confetti here is because he saw how he preformed alchemy without a transmutation circle and thought to himself “hm he’d be a perfect sacrifice” so being a big show off both risked Ed’s life and saved it at the same time lol
he also knows that ED say the eye of truth meaning not only did he perform human transmutation he had to lose something as well you could say if ED was willing to do all this and survive he's someone worthy
No he didn't. At 1:14, you can see his sword still in the scabbard. At 1:15, you hear a clinking sound similar to a sword draw or a gun cocking, but it was actually his blade cutting the spear. Brotherhood pays attention to detail, even the most minute ones.
@@AbRas644 I mean maybe I also mean him not being a homonculus as well so he wouldn't have his ultimate eye but he would still be pretty strong but still I was sort of sad to find out about him being bad since he always acted so cool he was like the fun uncle you may or may not have wanted
@@Gelimer32002 Then he'd be killed off WAY before that person killed by Envy. Looking at his past, all his skills are due to his own training. Had he been a good guy, he'd be the greatest threat to the guy's plans. I'm actually glad that he was a villain, cause 7 times out of 10, these fun old guys don't really get to flex themselves and we never really see just how badass they really are in animation, either due to cancellations or bad story writing. We hear their legends, but don't see why they're legendary. With his villain side, we see that the title of Fuhrer is not just some ornament for show like most titles, but is rather a true measure of why this man is the leader of this country.
@@whosaidiwantedahandledue to his attributes of his prosthetics and usage of metal other materials in combat also the word full metal is linked to rounds of ammunition with its most popular usage being the term “Fullmetal Jacket” from the movie of the same title.
People dont see the meme braley created. Ed is now fullmetal while his brother, the walking suit of armour, is who people point to when hearing the name :D
This one wasn't bad, but the exam in the original series was a lot more detailed in what they had to do, Him turning the collision of the ballon and steel tower into a wreath of flowers was truly spectacular.
@@j.j.1517 the biggest thing they skipped over in the brotherhood animem was the coal miner guy who became imoportant later. we didnt get to see eds whole false gold thing that ruined him.
I'm of the opinion that you can watch FMA 2003 up until about episode 25, maybe skipping a few filler episodes here and there, and then you should switch to Brotherhood
“In order to gain, something of equal value must be lost; that is Humanity‘s First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world’s one and only truth.” - Edward Eldrick.
I like how the guy behind Bradley has his gun drawn, but not pointed at Edward. He's the only one who can see that Bradley already has his sword out, so there is no need to defend him.
when ed points his spear at bradley you can hear metal cutting the air and you may confuse it for edwards spear but its actually bradley drawing his sword
I like how all of the top rank alchemists know that the only way to perform a transmutation without drawing a circle is to have attempted to ressurect someone yet none of them realise that Edward attempted to resurrect his mother. Especially since the price for attempting himan resurrection is to sacrifice a body part.
I liked the other version better. Ed asks why Bradley is leaving himself so open to assassination. Bradley responds that a much better question is when did I draw my sword. Halberd falls apart.
