I also love the way Edward looks at Oprah with so much respect, like he's anticipating wisdom and doesn't want to talk over her. I know anyone would be that way in Oprah's presence, but it's so awesome to see even the editor-in-chief of British Vogue be in such awe of her.

Oprah has made me cry countless of times. She has always been a huge inspiration and my dream in life is truly to just listen to her talk in person and hear her speak my name. I could die happy.

I loved this interview. I would only ask that Oprah open her persepctive a little bit. At about the 4:15 mark she starts talking about how young people expect success to come so soon, but before us we have two people who hit major successes at age 19. Edward was the youngest fashion director at i-D magazine and Oprah was the youngest news anchor in Nashville. Look where they are now. When people fret over not having early-in-life success it's because of people like these high achievers here. They have set the example that others want to emulate. Where a person is early in their career has a direct effect on their earning potential in years to come. So it's reasonable to want that success as early as possible.
Geo Cyo think you missed the point respectfully my brother regarding what she stated as far as the younger wanting success and fortune as soon as they hit the ground..very small lucky percentage start off at an young age find rapid success the level oprah is on without very hard smart building work.
Cory George, CCP, CAMS-I I have to respectfully disagree. For her to be Black, 19 years old, female, wearing her natural hair, in the South, and to have a regular spot on the local news in the 70's was a MAJOR success/accomplishment. And I have no doubt that there are 25-year-olds who worked just as hard as she did from, say, ages 14 - 18 and are wondering why their levels of success at 25 don't match what her level of success was at 19.

Oprah is completely authentic and aligned with herself and the universe. And I love that that little girl who knew she was destined for more than hanging washing now has her own airplane. ( : Love her so much!

Love, love this interview. She understands that she's there. Some people don't realize it and if they do, they are annoyingly arrogant. This is not Oprah's way. She's thankful, humble and curious about what's next . 🙌🏾💕
