Thanks for the effort and interview. Much appreciated by fans of Edward and Terminator. Fans have been speculating as to whether Furlong would appear in Dark Fate only by CGI or as an adult. I think it could be both, and I highly doubt he would have signed a contract only to appear as a younger John Connor via CGI. I’m thinking it has to be a cameo as an adult John Connor in either a dream sequence or future war imagery. Thanks again for your hustle on the interview and for the genuine respect you paid to Edward.
Pienso lo mismo, cuando termina la pelicula llegando al final Furlong aparece y los salva.. - Ven conmigo si quieren sobrevivir!!! PUm PUm PUm Fin... continua en Terminator 4
I think he's going to be in a dream sequence that is my answer. He does not look in shape to do any fighting they may dress him in black clothing almost like army wear style to slim him down and lots of make up + CGI.
Thank you, Edward, for your courage through the dark years. The future was not set. You were stronger than you imagined you could be. You must continue to survive, or John Connor will never exist.
His acting is so good that he should be able to get back into the game no problem. Iron man did it after all the stuff he went through. If Robert Downey Jr. did it, he should be able to do it as well. Go for it, take it seriously.
He was my favorite actor all throughout my childhood after seeing T2, which is still my favorite all time movie. Such a reality check to see how much he’s changed after almost 30 years. Sooner or later, life gets us all! And it happens quick! So enjoy every moment.
@Nevermore I just saw it myself, I was far from disappointed, the only thing that sucked was the beginning part but thinking about the movie in a different light, it was quite a good movie, rehashed but still done pretty well, but thats my opinion
@Nevermore indeed, theatres are sometimes costly depending where you live and what theatres are around you, my theatre does 6 dollar shows, so its not bad, they just gouge people with popcorn and beverage at my place xD
@@halcyonoutlander2105 Would need a lot more than 2 months unless he goes on steroids, which from I hear about his history is not a good idea to have him mixed up with drugs.
He is so down to earth, sweet and chill. I was in love with him when I was a teen. "Pet Sematary 2" is the movie of his that I adored the most. I would act out the movie with my cousin in my living room. We had the best times. I am rooting for him to make a massive comeback. Much love to you Eddie. 💜😎
He looks like hes doing so much better! I fell in love with him watching T2! Being hooked on alcohol or drugs is seriously difficult issue. I had alcohol issues and it was hard . I dont drink anymore. Anyone who criticizes someone who goes through an addiction problem needs to shut the hell up! God bless him I hope he stays well. It's a difficult industry to stay sober in. I wish him or whoever struggles with these addiction demons I pray for you~ many blessings to all who is reading.
I want to give you props but not stroke your ego. Good on you for being real and staying sober. People who go through recovery and become super authentic people are inspiring. Its amazing and beyond words
@@christopherthomas7980 thank you Also my ego can be stroked because I'm actually very insecure and have low self esteem. That's just more things I need to work on.
12 years old me was _obsessed_ with Edward Furlong!! Super excited that he's healthy & working with this project. Really hope after this film some other large projects come his way. Be nice to see him on screen acting more. Best of luck to him 🤗🌷
Edward Furlong seems like such a cool guy. He's not cocky, but he's still got that chill confidence and I'm looking forward to seeing him in more future films.
If he only had his shit together 24/7 he would be a great actor. Such a shame. Sending him light and hope one day he understands and balances out with the right mental outlook and friends.
He looks so bummed and trying hard to smile when asked about his part in the new Terminator. Like he doesn't agree with it, but still needs to make a living so he just signed off on it. When you say that so many people are supporting him in being involved with it, he has the most bittersweet smile like "Really? Oh Shit." Great interview. P.S. I'm totally not going to see the new movie.
8:27 your so lucky!! One day I hope to get my Detroit Rock City dvd signed by Ed. I watched that movie like over a million times by now. So happy to see Ed doing better now. I wish him the BEST!! Thank you for sharing this interview with all of us.
Bro, hate to be one of those people but Christianity can really help you turn your life around. But ultimately it's up to you, wishing you all the best, same for Eddie poor guy.
@cultofthorn 666 I'm drunk now, yesterday and today, some life problems and pressure just not allows me to quit man! I can't just can't, damn almost 18 years don't remember I been sober enough
@@humaneIP after the amount of abuse the dude has done to himself, and compared to the last pic I saw of him right before he got sober, than yes, his overall appearance has improved.
Given what's rumored to happen or not to his character...it likely will piss off a lot of fans. Numerous fans have described several different endings. Several were shot for screenings on purpose if asked me.
Oh yeah I'm so excited to see Terminator Dark Fate it'll be awesome and I look fwd to seeing Edward Furlong in it I hope he will help Arnold Save Mankind guess you'd say.😁
I hope he quits the Drinking and Smoking and get himself into Shape and we may hope to see him in another Terminator Movie I hope and Pray for him in the future
Dude, its good to see Edward in good health. Hes had a rough decade. Would love to see him in more films. Detroit Rock City was a favorite of mine growing up.
A bit of training and he would still look good in a movie. A lot of actors have to do it for a role so 3 months of excercise and he would be up and running as John again.
Ed part of my childhood . He seems super cool and down to earth. I hope he's in new Terminator we all are hoping he is. He is Terminator amazing to see him alive and well .
Nice edit on the "is there anything you dont like about these conventions" question. sudden cut then ....NO. i love it all. lol he said some shit during that cut.
I doubt that Edward will see this but I just wanted to say that my sister had the biggest crush on you and had your posters all over her wall. She wanted to marry you man. Sadly she passed away in '02 at the young age of 21 in a car accident. She's the one to introduce your movies to us (our family) and made me a huge fan as well. Much love and respect, I wish you continued success in life brother!!
Hi, I am Edward's aunt. I randomly look at these things and read the responses and never respond myself, but I will make sure that he sees this. He will really appreciate it. Thanks
Thank you for keeping me company while I been in the hospital fighting this cancer is brain tumor. During these messy times I am very glad that you have remained entertaining. It really has helped me a lot.
With so much negativity in the entertainment industry watching this interview brightend up my day. So much positivity in this interview. You didnt try to bash him or bring up negativity from his past or his failures. You focused on his success and kept a good spirit throughout the entire interview bringing out the best in the person you were interviewing. Good job man. People like you need to be supported. Immediatly subscribed and hit the bell. Keep up the good work.
I'm about to watch Terminator: Dark Fate, and I'm so excited to hear Eddie will be in it; even if it 5 mins IDGAF as long as he's included somehow I'm ecstatic! 🤞😍 *I'LL BE BACK* to give my thoughts😘
I met Edward at the spooky empire spring convention in Orlando about 8 months ago and he's a really cool guy and he was great to hang out with. I told him that all my favorite movies with him were Terminator 2, pet semetery 2, brain scan, Detroit rock City and American history X. All great movies and I told him the part in American history X, the way he reacts to the head stomp on the curb was the same way I reacted. He told me he understood what I meant because it was one of the most darkest moments in the movie. But the most traumatizing part was the ending.
E.N. comes off as a genuinely nice guy. I appreciate the respect he extended to the guy holding the interview and answering his questions. Hope he's in good health and in good spirits. He looks a lot healthier.
Jeff Z same i always remembered him as a kid in terminator I could relate to him so much but this is the first time I seen him in years I didn’t know he had a rough life kinda sad to see that happen to him I hope he recovers tho such a humble guy
You're the coolest Brendan Thanks for another amazing Video Bro That's so cool Edward Furlong remembered you that's dope bro.😁 have a great Weekend Pal Rock on Bro😊
He looks SO much better than the last time I saw him. Healthier and seemingly in a much better place. He's always seemed like a cool, down to earth guy. His domestic situations do him no favors, but drugs and alcohol usual play a role in this. Still no excuse for it though. Wish the guy well, and hope he is cleaning up his life. He is a talented actor. The fame and fortune at such a young age did him no favors. I mean he's still best known for a role he played over 25 years ago! (makes me feel old, I saw that in theaters) SO GLAD he made an appearance in the newest Terminator. Long overdue.
I’m not really looking forward to Dark Fate, but I will check it out when it comes out on home video. I’m not sure how big Eddie’s role will be in the movie either, but I enjoyed the interview and it was nice seeing Eddie in the video. 😊
