Beautiful and detailed performance of this late-Romantic and perfectly composed sonata in various tempos with mild yet well-phrased sound of brilliant cellos and clearly articulated yet graceful sound of equally brilliant piano. The second movement sounds particularly beautiful and really solacing. In contrast the third movement sounds really lively and also persuasive. The intimate and perfectly corresponding dialog between the two virtuosi is truly admirable. Wonderful from the beginning to the end!
